Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Fulford

Really disappointed with my experience when I visited the other day. Ordered a panini and a white hot chocolate with peppermint. Was really looking forward to my drink as it's my favourite and haven't been to Starbucks for a while now. Queue system for covid could be better. Anyways my main concern was the fact that my drink was incorrect and far from what I had ordered. I received a white mocha with no peppermint in the drink. The cup was only just half full with coffee spilt all down the side and it was lukewarm. I though at first they had just mixed up and gave me a regular hot chocolate until I had opened it at which point it was too late to resolve as I had left the outlet and was in my car. I saw a couple in front have an issue with their drinks but didn't think to double check mine as the store is usually quite good. At around 4 pounds a drink I expected it to be right and better. I only used this coffee shop because I needed to sit near the entrance to meet a friend! Ordered a coconut latte, which was huge (like a bucket)! I took a seat and waited and waited. 2 staff serving. One of whom was taking the order and a young man doing all the preparation and serving. Two further staff cleaning around the large area. They took so long that I had only 5 minutes to drink the coffee. Not needed as it was tasteless and quite nauseating to drink. My flapjack was OK but possibly bought in anyway. No returning there. Terrible service from the chap serving the coffee at the bar. Extremely rude and couldn't care less TBH

When confronted was very dismissive and called his supervisor, who didn't apologies but just offered vouchers for the way he spoke to me. This is where 'supervisor' need to wake up and smell the coffee... Not everyone complains because they want a freebie! I can comfortably buy my own drink
