Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Gedling

I just wanted to shout out Costa in Arnold. I've been lucky enough to breastfeed both of my daughters and have been in to Costa countless times since becoming a Mum. Every. Single. Time. I've gone in, even before I've started to feed, I've been welcomed, supported, offered help with the drinks/the pram etc etc. If and when I've mentioned about feeding, they've asked if there is anything they can do, if I want a particular table clearing etc. When I had my first daughters, I had a lot if complications, a few times I was caught short and needed to use the loo. There was no issue that I'd not bought a drink, they unlocked the door to the loo straight away so I could sort myself or my baby out. Today I nipped in as my youngest (14 weeks) needed feeding and the Manager, Jono, who we've been chatting too for years now (he's adorable and sometimes works up at the Mapperley Costa too, his wife Chelsea also works there or certainly used to). He is always so full of adoration for the girls. He came over when I'd settled to say hello and to make sure I was OK. A couple of weeks ago I was in again and another lady was the same, made sure I'd got everything I needed, asked if I wanted any water etc. Honestly, it is so refreshing and heartwarming to know that I have a safe space to go and feed. And if anyone had anything negative to say to me whilst I was there, I'm confident I'd have a whole army of lovely people behind me to fight my corner! So, any local mums with new babies, struggling for somewhere to go where they feel confident or safe to BF, I highly recommend...

Staff are all amazing people! Excellent Service! True part of the Local Community. Most staff know regular customers by name & remember their usual orders. In my experience ALL the staff go above & beyond! They genuinely care about the Community & give, beyond the already extra special attention, to regular customers! It's a pleasure to go in no matter what day or time! The Manager Jono & ALL his team are wonderful, caring people! A definite assest to Costa Coffee and I feel they should be recognized as a Team & as a Branch Location, for providing the excellent service they do! A Costa Coffee customer in Nottingham City Centre doesn't receive this level of local knowledge, care & Service Standards. It's a very busy Branch so they could do with extra staffing @ peak times. My husband visits 3-4 times a week and I visit probably once a fortnight but I have to say that the coffee/breakfast is always piping hot and fresh but what makes this place is the staff. They are always helpful and friendly but the icing on the cake is Jacob. He is always so welcoming, knows exactly what you want, takes the time to ask how you are, makes an amazing coffee but is also very quick and efficient. I've seen him with other customers and he really makes you feel like you are the only customer in the cafe, not just the next person in the queue.
