Bartender couldn't tell the difference between German Weißbier and Dutch Lager, despite clearly stating Weißbier, ended up with some terrible excuse for a lager! For an establishment that prides itself on being experts with beer, this is rather amusing... Atmosphere is shocking, the "live entertainment" sounded worse than a bag of cats screeching for their lives. Frankly, I've heard better things in McDonald's restroom! The "live entertainment" was so loud, we couldn't hear anyone else without having to shout point blank in their face... Food was terrible, utterly terrible. Looked and tasted like the colour grey, if one could put a taste to the colour. Didn't have coke or Pepsi and had some alternative "cola" that wasn't pleasant to ingest, replaced for "lemonade" that was equally as bad. I would presume they haven't cleaned taps properly. Gents toilet was covered in excrement and the walls were plastered with dried vomit; further to this, the walls had marks from previous ejections that hadn't been cleaned up. The mezzanine was so cramped and poorly lit. The heat from the kitchen was almost unbearable - who in their right minds thought the best location would be above a kitchen?!?!?! Had to wipe my feet on the way out of the building as the floors...

Awful staff. Messed up my other half's order, delivering something more than twice as expensive as what he'd asked for (and had physically pointed at on the menu). We'd already waited the best part of an hour for this, so we offered to just eat it if they only charged us the price of the original dish. Head waitress immediately refused, took it away, and said the original dish would be out soon. When I caught her attention to let her know that my dish would be cold by then, she said it would taste good hot or cold, then left before I could say another word. We persevered, thinking they'd maybe offer a free dessert or knock some money off, but they kept their distance from us the whole time, occasionally pointing over in our direction, which was extremely uncomfortable (I assume someone was getting blamed for the mix-up, instead of just focusing on a solution to resolve our dining experience). After a painfully long wait for what was supposed to be a simple lunch, we just wanted out of there, so we asked for the bill, and not only did they not knock any money off for the horrendous service, but they added a service charge! Awful. Avoid...

Brewery Experience Day - Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen. My friend and I have been home brewing beer for a short while and thought this day would be good to try and take things to the next level. What an excellent day it turned out to be.

David Quin (Head Brewer) and Rob were great. They really knew their stuff and alongside giving us a great hands-on day of brewing a large batch of beer they were able to answer all our questions which greatly helped our own home brewing efforts.

It's a fun day, you get really involved with the whole process and equipment, plus there's coffee, bacon sarnies, a decent meal, around 10 samples of beer to drink throughout the day and a 5 litre keg of your choice to take home as well - amazing value for money. I'd highly recommend this day, not only to those already in to brewing but also those that just fancy a different day out or are looking for a great original present for someone. Great place and location too....

The Sunday roast dinner come out twice cold was sent back twice in a row and they still couldn’t seem to grasp the concept of a warm enjoyable lunch :( The lady waiter was absolutely fantastic do very understanding and very helpful threw out The complimentary roast potatoes was delicious and the cauliflower cheese was delightful and very very hot but delicious We got it the third time from the kitchens and it was piping hot delicious and 5 star if it had come out like this first place my review would been 5 stars as the food was delicious :) Would like to add they did only charge us for one roast dinner due to the ordeal and a complimentary free drink each so that was something to note they did sort it out in a round about way ( but all we wanted was a nice hot roast dinner :) not to much to ask for

I booked a workplace spot yesterday which is £10 for wifi, unlimited tea / coffee and a sandwich at lunchtime and I arrived at opening time 11am. All I can say is, they looked after me superbly, especially the manager who greeted me not long after I arrived. I was pointed in the direction of a quiet spot with power on the mezzanine level which actually had no-one else there all day (see pic). The background music could potentially get in the way of calls, but I enjoyed the music and Zoom seemed to filter it all out well anyway. I had a large pot of tea that provided 3 cups each time and was regularly asked if there was anything else I wanted, if I wanted more tea etc. I'd definitely recommend the place if you need to work remotely for the day near the Quays.

What a lovely friendly place. This is situated on Gloucester Quays overlooking the canal. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Outside can relax and watch the water. They have music inside and outside but chilled level. Inside is really lovely decorated one table has a fire in the middle. The staff friendly and welcoming.. This place brews own beer which there is a variety of different ones. There is a variety of different drinks.. We had the roast dinner yesterday 09/07/2023 and have to say personally best roast for me in Gloucester.. They do different things on nights so if need more information worth contacting them.. Reasonably priced and worth the money. Definitely going again and would recommend..
