McDonald's — Restaurant in Gloucester

Ordered on app, turned up.

After 20 mins 1 person had been served. All the food for twenty orders was sitting there waiting to be packed. Including probably my now cold food.

One young man who was the only server had asked the kitchen for help and got refused by another young man who continued to pile up food not being served.

Got a refund but couldn't refund points. Tried to give me apple pie x 2, sorry can't as on checking they had expired. Sums up this store. To his credit the manager said they were short staffed, but it doesn't excuse the cold food he was going to serve to other waiting including delivery drivers who would end up delivering stone cold food to customers.

This store deserves zero stars. If you ever get served expect the food to be cold. Go to the McDonald's in the nearby retail park (st Oswalds park) who are 100x better than this McShambles.

Avoid this store, don't even think about going there. Life...

Mcdonalds isn't my favorite fast food place, but it's one I visit frequently. The food is good, but if you have a specific order (IE a burger with no onions), make sure the cashier takes it down right. I've lost count of amount of times I've had to scrape shreds of onion off my "plain" hamburger with a fry, and of course the burger's cold by the time I've got them all off.

I have to admire the management though, there were once a bunch of rowdy kids yelling and swearing and slapping each other, and they were promptly kicked out by the manager.

The atmosphere depends on the other people around, so it can range from decent to obnoxious, but I guess that's not the restaurant's fault.

I also believe this is the only McDonalds in the city to accept vouchers from bus tickets, as they're only valid in branches without a drive through service for some reason.

All in all there are far worse places to go for...

I was waiting for my food during non busy hours, took 15 minutes for a burger and fries. To make matters worse, the woman handing out orders did not check receipts, leading to a random man putting his hands on my burger instead of his, then bringing it back to the counter and instead of making me a new one they gave me that one which he already opened and put his hands on, not very hygienic and very unprofessional from the members of crew. Additionally, there was an uber eats driver yelling over the counter for his order, which is obviously not ready as the crew would rather slack off than do what they’re paid for. Not to mention the upstairs is never opened, even when the place is packed from past experience, not even the upstairs toilets are accessible, whats even the point in having them. Extremely let down each...
