Beachside Barbecue — Restaurant in Great Britain

Rated 5 stars last year - Great views to be enjoyed if you are luck to get a good enough seat. Priced in their favour because of its location. The food was nice - halloumi and pesto burger was great and we now make it at home.

2 stars as end of June 2019 - came here again for lunch but staff member was awkward. Apparantly its not possible to do kids portions as dividing a meal in half and charging half is not possible??? So we had to pay £14.95 for a meal for each child. Wanting to make the best of our last day in saundersfoot with a gorgeous view we ordered the fish platter as a treat. The photo is of the meal costing £37.95 plus an extra £1 upgrade for sweet potato fries and an exta £1 for the cheesey garlic potatoes. This is a sharing platter for 2 and compared to the other fish places we ate at was pretty poor in price vs quantity AND quality of the food. Me and my family have had dinner here for many years on our holiday and has always been very good this year however was disappointing. First off we didn't get offered a drink and we waited and waited then I had to ask for one as it was getting embarassing.secondly when the food came out my son realised that the pulled pork on his burger had no barbecue sauce on it,when I complaind the waitress then brought out some salsa so I had to complain again.In all this time our food had near enough gone cold.great service for £80 odd pounds worth of burgers.Think I'm going to struggle to visit this restaurant again seems to have gone right...

Views overlooking the bay. Great waitress polite and answered questions. Checked origin of lamb. Australia! In Wales! Had Welsh beef instead. Food arrived in timely manner and was well presented. My wife had same meal but her salad was mainly onion. I had mainly green leaf. So that was good but if it had been other way round I would have not been happy. Consistently needed. So why did I give 5 stars? Overall price and experience was enough to overlook the salad issue. Lamb from Australia was not really excusable but the music played was great i'm easily brought.
