We drove through Bournemouth & noticed this restaurant. Decided on a takeaway.
If I could give 0 star I would. But we can't leave a comment on a 0 star
At the counter I asked to view the menu. I asked if the tofu is fresh or the type you have to soak in water for over an hour. It taste synthetic. Unpleasant. Prefer fresh. The waitress said she'd ask the cook. She returned to it was fresh. I had my doubts. The menu showed coloured images of food. I asked which photo shows the tofu. None. I decided to abandon the tofu idea. I saw a page with the sub heading, stir fried rice dishes. With different choices. So I picked a number. This offered garlic, mushroom & oyster etc. Around £7.00 tofu or shrimps cost extra. The waitress then said, " Do you want to order rice with this?" In other words, rice is not included in the price but it is in the menu heading. She confirmed the stir fried rice dish does not come with rice. Before I would order other dishes, I questioned the logic of their sub heading as misleading.
I then abandoned the idea of purchasing meals for us and quickly left the premises.
Another Thai restaurant further down also claimed their tofu was fresh. It wasn't. They'd been open a couple of months. Had no customers the whole day

Read moreA friend recommended this place to us. We have been in search of a good thai place in Bournemouth. Upon entering we were welcomed by the good ambience of a small fish pond and a nice server. We put in our orders which is a green papaya salad and spring rolls. The spring rolls was okay, but the papaya salad was amazing. It had that heat that I’ve been looking for in asian dishes. My husband who is not fond of fish sauce slurped the sauce of it.
And then I ordered Pad Thai for mains and he ordered the drunken noodles. First bite and we were mind blown. It was amazing!!! The flavor profile and the mouth feel was just spot on.
And the prices were great too. 2 starters and 2 mains was for less than £40. This is our new favorite place in Bournemouth. This place is...
Read moreWe tried several times to eat from this place and it was closed every time we tried (now I think it was a sign to avoid it) tonight we tried again and it was open and we were so excited to finally being able to try it. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT !! I have to say it, the girl in the collection point was a sweetheart but the food.... My pad Thai and “crispy” wonton were literally leaking oil, so greasy and disgusting I had to dispose them both. The green curry and Tom Yum soup were more or less ok but it’s just not fair that I had to collect because they don’t deliver in Winton and then half of my order had to end up...
