A pretty decent little place. My wife has long talked up the Boba tea, I have always been somewhat reluctant. However the quality of the product is clear. I had a raspberry fruit tea whose base was green tea, with rainbow bubbles (a mixture of all the flavours of bubble). It was very nice, I would certainly have one again. There is quite a lot of variety on the menu, you could go here many times and not be bored by it. A couple of small things: I went up to the counter and the man working looked really confused, told me rudely that if I was paying by card to go to the self ordering screens. Not a big deal, but not good either. And the price for the product is high, considering how much tea and fruit juice costs there is clearly a large markup. But if you have some spare money and want a refreshing shot of caffeine and sugar then this is a decent...
Read moreI am a seasoned bbt enjoyer. And ngl CUPP caught me off guard. I didn't think I would find good BBT in the UK like back at home but CUPP did not disappoint :)
I ordered their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls and Mochi. It was pretty good! The pearls wasn't undercooked nor overcooked. The brown sugar syrup was nice and thick and the tea was not bad. The mochi was okay, though I wish it was a little thicker. I also like that they had many different toppings like back at home. They have grass jelly, cheese foam, mochi etc but at additional cost. Ended up spending around £5-6 which is a little bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.
I've also heard good things about their matcha drink. Might recommend giving that a try too.
Drink: 7/10 (but probably best in Dundee) Shop:...
Read moreI didn’t have high expectations coming in here but I thought I’d give it a try since Dundee is lacking in Bubble Tea places. It’s very pricey for Dundee, given the size (I ordered a large). It isn’t authentic and the images and marketing are misleading. The Brown Sugar ‘Boba’ Tea is marketed with tapioca pearls (the boba) in the images on their kiosk screens but actually did not come with tapioca as you need to pay extra. Additionally, there are poor customisation choices in terms of sugar levels and ice levels compared to other authentic Taiwanese and Chinese bubble tea stores. This large cup was essentially just a cup of full cup of milk and sugar as there wasn’t any tea...
