I came here with two others on a Friday evening and was very happy with my meal.

I entered and was immediately greeted and seated by a woman who I think was the owner, she was lovely and seemed happy to be there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. It is calm, with soothing music, tasteful decorations, and warm lighting.

I ordered the Katsu Pork with Rice and Curry Sauce, my friends ordered the sharing sushi platter, spring rolls, and duck dumplings sides to share. The price is very good, each of us spending on average £13 to eat.

The food came out very fast, in about five to ten minutes for everything. Along with the meals ordered, the restaurant gave me a miso soup, and a complementary salad for the table.

My pork katsu curry was to die for. The presentation was immaculate and the curry sauce was the perfect consistency and tasted amazing. The true highlight was the pork; the breadcrumbs on the cutlet were the crispiest I have ever had and the meat was delicious.

The miso soup was delicious and I previously thought I simply do not like miso soup.

I am not a big fan of sushi, but my friends loved their order, and it looked like amazing sushi.

It was cash only when I visited. My meal for three came to £47 including one drink each and service charge.

Overall, this restaurant was a wonderful and tasteful experience for...

I ordered food through the just eat website and the reason I chose this restaurant was because of the quick delivery time. I ordered at 5pm and my delivery time kept changing. It now showed a 2 hour wait time. I called the restaurant directly, they informed me they don’t have a driver. When I asked the lady “why did you take an order with a 20 minute delivery time if you don’t have a driver?” She said “I don’t know this happens all the time”. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they don’t have any available and couldn’t tell me a time when a manager would be in. She said my food was made and waiting for a driver. When I said “so my food will be sitting out for two hours maybe longer before collected so it won’t even be fresh she said “mmm”. I’m not sure what kind of response that is… Appalling customer service. She also stated “well I haven’t ordered off just eat myself so I don’t know. We still don’t have a driver so it might be longer than the two hours”. So I have no food, it may be hours until it arrives if it ever does, when it gets here it will have been sitting out for hours and no manager, apology or accountability. Do...

I hate to write a negative review, but I think it's worth warning anyone off who might consider eating here, What a total rip off and disappointing experience. Steamed rice and Miso soup were fine. As for the rest.. 'Tempura King Prawn maki rolls' are actually composed of mostly 'crab' seafood stick. When I questioned this (when I eventually managed to get some attention) there was no explanation and no offer to remove it form the bill. Salt and Chilli chicken was at least 50% dried up chewy batter that must have been lying around for ages, and the chicken itself I suspect came from the same source as the whole Tesco ready cooked chicken, still in its plastic bag on the counter in front of me. The chef's area is (unsurprisingly) blanked off with metal sheeting. Perfunctory (to say the least) service. No surprise it was deserted. The place I hoped to go to (Tahini) a few yards away, was fully booked; looks fantastic. I'd recommend going there if you can, and if you want Japanese food; avoid this place at all costs. One star...

Su Sushi is great, they did recently have a slight price increase but they are still better than any other local Ramen/Sushi place. One person there says hi or a few small kind words to me and my girlfriend as we go quite frequently for Ramen or Sushi and they recognise us. Sometimes it can be just us but at other times on passing it has been a bit busy. We don't like being around too many people so this is fine with us. The closing times are good as if we are going through the town after being on busses we can drop by for some food. I recommend going in on an empty stomach if having ramen as it is a big bowl, but it is great. I like the Chicken Katsu Ramen and my girlfriend likes the Pork Belly. Tokyo Roll or Rainbow Roll are a good option for Sushi. The menu is a good selection of things and easy to read. The only thing that we dislike is that they are cash only. We have to figure out how much money to take out before going in.

Food was so lovely and the staff are so friendly, lovely and helpful! The portions are actually quite big if your not having the wee plates off the belt. There's no stairs inside and the space is quite open so it would have good wheelchair access inside, off the top of my head I can't remember if there's one step to get into the premises but maybe check Google maps, I don't think there is. There is only one toilet but again has access for a wheelchair. This place only takes cash so remember and take money out before going in. We had pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, chicken katsu curry, spring rolls and chicken udon - all lovely.
