Fireaway Pizza Aylesbury — Restaurant in Great Britain

It was the first and last time when I’ve ordered from Fireaway Pizza Aylesbury.

First of all, I’ve selected the order to arrive after 1 hour (even if I’ve had a slot in 30 min) and the delivery arrived after 1 hour and 20 min (but still payed them £2 tip because I know it wasn’t the drivers fault for the delay).

Second, I have selected the chicken wings plain and they have arrived Very Hot. Called the Aylesbury branch and I was told that this is how they receive them (no apologies, just a mumble in a poor English). There are no specification on the website about this aspect. Shouldn’t you mention that the plain is ridiculously hot, at least people know what to expect. However, it may have been sent a different type, as the wings were yellow, so obviously a hot sauce was added. Obviously they went to the bin, as my mouth was on fire after the first bite. Bear in mind that I normally eat spicy, and it was impossible for me to cary on eating the rest)

Third, the pizza was burned (and black) on half of it and the whole pizza was not soft at all. I have build my own and selected double cheese (payed £1 more) on it, and honestly I had to look for the cheese on the pizza.

The sauce that came with the pizza was a garlic peri peri. Uneatable as the smell was so pungent. Couldn’t you add jus a normal garlic sauce?

Finally no pepper added, even if I have selected it.

Not willing to give them a second chance as it seems that this is their normal, but unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews.

I have ordered from Fireaway many times in the past without complaint. However, after placing my order through Deliveroo I received a call that one of my items I ordered was out of stock, which is completely understandable. Although, what we were offered as a replacement was cheaper than our original pudding and fell short.

The cookie that we did receive was a microwaveable lump of dough that I wouldn’t call a cookie. After microwaving, as was suggested on the packaging, the dough was grainy and more like a cake than any cookie. It was also then that I realised that the Kinder Bueno cookie I chose a replacement wasn’t a kinder, but a nestle white chocolate chunk.

The pizza (which has always been brilliant before) was really sparse on toppings.

I've been to this place 3 times. Twice in the day time when really nice young Lady was serving me and everything was good. and recently about 9pm when the pizza didn't taste the same as before, chicken stripes been served with literally dead whild rocket, so I asked the Asian guy if he can replace the rocket for me and he clearly wasn't happy to do it and he said there is nothing wrong with it. Even my friend's daughter (9 years old said this is dead, don't eat it) But I insisted to have it replaced so finally we got new portion , but partly rotten. The guy who was serving us said that its fresh, I said look it's rotting he said no I just opened the fresh pack. Well we all definitely did not enjoy the pizza that evening I won't be back there , and certainly not when this Asian guy...
