Grill Co — Restaurant in England

I use to be a very regular customer to this place ordering online or even in person . Today I was there ordered a quarter pounder . My first bite I bite a half toothpick, I nearly vomited some customer witness it the owner quickly snapped the plate from me and start apologising . Saying that I am his regular . Offer me to make me another one I just took my money and I left . Honestly I couldn’t eat anything since as I am still disgusted by that as I am thinking that toothpick was used 🤮 previously i ordered online and one item had plastic but I wasn’t picky I said maybe is busy and they didn’t give attention in plastic cover .

But after what happened today I start question the hygiene and food safety in there .

Be careful people I know they had great food . They were my favourite I use to order sometime 3 times a week from them

Worst takeaway we have ever had! Shocking service and bad food! Left more of what we did get! Kids burgers came without chips and fruit shoots and wrong adult drinks arrived. Called the takeaway to complain and was advised that I had only put a cheese burger through. Advised I had put a kids burger through and it just said cheese burger on the order. Basically called me a liar and when I said I was happy to show him he said it must Ubers fault as it has come through incorrectly. Said they could do us some chips and drips but I would have to collect as their driver wasnt available!! I ordered a delivery for a reason. Gave up in the end and cooked waffles for the kids! Finally sat down to eat our food and the burgers were overcooked so much so I couldnt eat it becuase all I could taste was burnt charcoal! Definitely won't be ordering from there again and I don't think they will be...

Only one star as you can't put less than that. We ordered takeaway and came in good time, the order however was not good, at all. We ordered 2x kids meals that specify they come with chips and drinks, they didn't turn up. The restaurant claim we hadn't ordered the extras but the menu states they come with it and so does the receipt, they also tried passing the blame to uber as they delivered it which makes no sense at all. Then it comes to our meals, i mean if you like black dried out burgers I highly recommend you come eat at this place, its for you! Enjoy the terrible food and just as bad customer service. Thank me later. I won't ever be using this place again and I don't see it lasting long carrying on like this,...
