I recently had the pleasure of hosting a special ceremony at LALE TURKISH RESTAURANT and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by an elegant and beautifully designed space. The ambiance was perfect—intimate yet grand, with soft lighting and tastefully arranged décor that created a warm, inviting atmosphere. The ceremony itself was seamlessly executed, thanks to the attentive and professional staff who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were gracious, attentive to every detail, and made sure that we felt completely taken care of throughout the event. As for the food—absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offered a delightful variety of options, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether everything was impeccable. Overall, LALE turkish restaurant exceeded all expectations for both the event and dining experience. If you're looking for a venue that combines breathtaking ambiance, top-notch service, and incredible food, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! THANK YOU FUNDA❤️

Authentic Turkish restaurant founded by a Turkish owner that serves one of the best grills in town. - (V) Suateed garlic mushroom £7.50 Wonderful starter featuring yummy mushroom soup and garlic bread. The soup is very creamy and thick. Garlic bread is crispy and delicious. - Mix grill for one £26.95 OMG SUCH A FANTASTIC PLATE OF GRILLS!! The portion is really generous and you get all types of lamb & chicken here. I actually love the rice and spicy dip which go extremely well with the meat. IT WAS A FINE DINING REALLY!! - Lemonade Fresh & zesty with a real piece of lemon in it. FUN FACT: The owner decorated and painted the restaurant herself. Honestly, it's so pretty that it's worth stepping inside just to enjoy the atmosphere and decoration. (2-3 hrs before sunset is just perfect) FUN FACT 2: Located next door is one of the oldest pubs in Scotland

This is far more than just good Turkish food – it’s a culinary journey marked by depth of flavor, top-quality ingredients, and genuine craftsmanship. A true standout was the lamb: locally sourced Highland lamb, with a distinctive, rich flavor that sets it apart from anything I’ve tasted before. The meat was incredibly tender and aromatic – you can truly taste the difference that quality and regional sourcing make. It elevates the entire dish to another level. Turkish delicious cuisine and quality highland lamb makes a perfect meal to enjoy. The service was equally impressive – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, without being overbearing. This is a place where you don’t just eat – you savor. I highly recommend to make this restaurant to your favorite one in Inverness.

Me and my family ate there today and god firstly the food was mediocre at best my father has been to a turkish restaurant in every single place we have visited and is very familiar with the cuisine of turkish food. The food came so quick which made it so obvious that it wasn’t fresh and tasted microwaved. My father then asked the waitress who was an old ish lady about bread being served with the mixed grill as there usually is with mixed grill, mind you he asked in a very normal toned way. The waitress then says “that’s how it is here that’s how we do the mixed grill”. My father then says to her usually there’s some bread that comes with it could we get some bread and she said yes sure and walked away. Up till now normal conversation and very normal tone. After that they brought some bread and we ate and finished the food. Whilst paying my dad says to her this was one of the worst experiences of turkish food here in Inverness, as we have gone to another Turkish place yesterday called Aspendos, and Wow the food and customer service there was brilliant and amazing 10/10 would recommend and authentic turkish food, anyways he says that to her, and her response word for word is “Great, Thank you and this is the worst experience i’ve had of you customers, This is england not your country i’m not your servant you cannot shout at me you don’t have the right to shout at me”. My dad confused asked when did he shout the whole time he’s talked to her calm and composed and she keeps saying “you cannot shout at me this is not your country this is not how we do things here” Like the audacity to say that’s about us. We are Arabic people who are also tan and have arabic features, so there was definitely racially motivated agenda. Overall we left and she didn’t even let us leave in peace she followed my dad out the door and got in his face and kept repeatedly saying this is not your country this is england. Overall i wish i could leave an actual negative review. Worst Restaurant and food experience ever do not support this racist and absurdly rude woman and at the end she also claimed that she’s the manager so definitely a nice way to...

If you're looking for an authentic and incredibly satisfying dining experience in Inverness, look no further than Lale Turkish Restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The food at Lale is simply outstanding. You can tell they pride themselves on using the finest, freshest ingredients, and it truly shines through in every dish. The charcoal-grilled meats are a highlight – perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavour. Whether you go for a classic lamb doner, a flavourful Adana kebab, or one of their superb lamb or chicken shish options, you won't be disappointed.

Beyond the grills, their casseroles are a must-try, offering rich, aromatic sauces and tender ingredients. Don't skip the freshly made flatbreads either – they're the perfect accompaniment to soak up every delicious drop. Even their vegetarian and vegan options, like the aubergine or chickpea casseroles, are prepared with care and are incredibly tasty.

What truly elevates the experience at Lale is the attentive and friendly service. The staff are genuinely welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful meal, making you feel like a valued guest.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a delicious and authentic Turkish meal, Lale Turkish Restaurant is a fantastic choice in Inverness. Highly...

Apologies to my countrymen but I cannot find good food in Scotland. Just about every international food option I have ever tried in this country has been "British-ised" and frankly I just gave up on trying "authentic" (Thai, French, whatever) food, because it doesn't taste how I remember food tasting in those countries.

We decided to give this restaurant a shot and it is my new Inverness favourite. Nothing was soggy, food that I'm normally pickier about came out perfectly. Normally we have a fair bit of food waste because we eat until we're not hungry and then just stop because it's not as pleasant an experience as we would have liked - we ate all of this. My mum is visiting from out of town but did spend a few years growing up in Turkey and she absolutely loved this as well.

The customer service was excellent (normally it feels like so many restaurants are being inconvenienced when they even take our order), and the portions were PERFECT. It was a pricey meal (£142 of food for six of us), but completely worth it. So often I end up with massive portions of food that isn't particularly good and last night I had the best meal I've had in probably a year, if I'm honest. So happy to have found this place and we will be back -...
