A pub that's almost permanently busy. No televisions anywhere, just a bit of music and people talking. By God that's refreshing. There's also a full range of ages; no one feels out of place in there from the students you occasionally find right the way up the ages to the pensioners.

The range of beer is pretty good; between the Lios Mor and the Three Judges over the road you won't go far wrong if you like ale or lager, the range of whisky Irish, Scottish and further afield is excellent. You won't need to leave the pub for anywhere else for quite some time if you want to work your way around the malts; although you'll be back more than once since you won't be able to have that amount of malt in one night without the aid of a stomach pump.....

And as a Highlander with family all around the world I really, really appreciate the sentiment in gents toilets... a more worthy dedication you could not imagine. My family is around the world because of the people mentioned and I'm quite happy to oblige to the suggestion at least a couple of times on each...

Great pub, the surroundings are just beautiful with a lot of care to keep it nice. I really like the interesting shutter designed to partially enclose the stained windows. Nice rafters on display and stone walls. They have a traditional session sometimes which is very complementary and attracts some very proficient players wnd musicians. Quirky loos. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the puggy. Doesn't fit the surrounding and is just distracting - put a wee table and couple of chairs there instead if you ask me. Price is reasonable for the Westend and serve a good selection of beers, I like the brewdog IPA. Recommended to anyone who likes a traditional pub with very pleasant...

TRUE WHISKY olde world bar/lounge on Dumbarton Rd near KelvinGrove in Glasgow that from the outside is unconvincing - but step inside and its cosy, subtle lighting, traditional and warm great service. Lots of great choices of Whisky, two versions of draught Guinness (ice cold) and all of your favourite drinks! I ordered a special Glengoyne and Steven wanted to tell me the price before ordering!! I knew it wasnt cheap but appreciated the heads-up! Great service, good draught beer with clean systems - highly recommended as a stop off in your busy days! Will certainly come...

Very good Glasgow pub about three minutes walk from Kelvinhall subway station. Two cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. A few tables outside on the pavement. There is a strong highland connection in this pub, with the name spelt in Gaelic by the side entrance. Stained-glass windows by local artists portray scenes from the infamous clearances while the urinals are dedicated to the Duke of Sutherland and other perpetrators. Regular folk sessions are featured.

A truly classic bar predominantly selling hard liquor but has a couple of cask ales pouring, the quality of which ensures it’s a regular entry in the Good Beer Guide. Excellent atmosphere helped with the 80’s New Wave music in the background. The stained glass windows are a sight to behold so come in and see for yourself and enjoy the great hospitality.
