Waited almost 15 minutes after being seated for someone to take an order, eventually managed to call someone over who then took another 10 minutes to put the order through on the system, having handwritten the order. Nachos arrived with partially frozen guacamole and unmelted grated cheese. Luke warm beefburger and cold chicken and bacon burger arrived, not even warm enough to melt the slice of cheese. Chicken burger arrived almost 'deconstructed', just a tipped over mess. Noone came back to the table to check if everything was ok. So again, 10 minutes passed and I had to find someone to tell the food was poor. Just rubbish service and even worse food. They weren't busy at all. A number of members of staff wandering around, clearly trying to find something to do. Missed opportunity here to make a lot of money. Terrible experience, terrible service and terrible food I ordered a granola bowl and my friends ordered pancakes, after 45 minutes we asked where the food was and were told that it was being plated up. I would understand a wait if they were busy but we were one of around 4 full tables. 20 minutes later we ask again and it’s still being plated up. When we finally get the food, the pancakes were cold and dry and it’s very difficult to ruin a granola bowl but the food was terrible. Nobody came to our table to ask if the food was okay either. We informed the manager of our terrible experience and she gave us 20% off, we also have an owners privilege card which gives us 15% off but she refused to give us both discounts. Ordered a vegan burger which was advertised with vegan cheese and guacamole. Turned up without either, just a dry burger and hardly any chips. Sent it back and it came back with the message from the kitchen "it doesn't come with cheese its a vegan burger". Sent it back again after showing the server the menu description. Was returned with the message "we don't have vegan cheese or guacamole". Still hardly any chips. Would have been excusable if they'd told me they were out of stock beforehand and asked me if I still wanted it. Don't waste £12.99 on this. Also, I came in earlier to place the order as my daughter has severe autism and can't wait long without a very loud meltdown.
