Nando's St Andrews — Restaurant in Great Britain

My experience at Nando’s St Andrews, I will have to say, was far from pleasant. Me and a friend visited on a Sunday evening, looking to motivate ourselves after a lengthy studying experience, with more to come. However, our time at Nando’s did no such thing. First of all, we were met with unbecoming staff, who seemed not to be busy, and we were made to wait for an extended period of time before we were shown to our seats. I will have to say the food arrived quickly, but this might be one of the only upsides to our visit. Unfortunately, when our server came with our food, they leant directly over us to place it down, which I would have assumed to be taught against in basic server etiquette. Having felt disgruntled with this, we dug in to our food, but were disappointed to find that the chips were poorly and unevenly seasoned. Moreover, having been to Nando’s frequently in the past, I noticed that the chips seemed different and worse than previously. A modern and impressing restaurant for the young people. If you like to eat different meals than Burgers and wants to have a new experience in getting real good chicken meals - so come here and check the interesting menu.

If you're a younger person you would prefer to make your order with your mobile. If you're more often here, you shurely will have also installed the Nando's App. But fortunately it is also possible to place the order at the counter. There you also get more information and help.

For most dishes you can additional select, how spicy it should be, and you may get the meal pure or with several side dishes. And i suggest to drink the bottomless drinks like Cola - you may (re)fill your glass as often you like for a good prize.

The meals will reach you fast and they really taste delicious. You may add several sauces to fit it perfect to your taste.

By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Nandos. I order a butterfly burger with peri fries with garlic bread. The peri fried had the lightest sprinkle of peri on the chips to the point that I should have ordered regular chips and the garlic bread was so hard it wasn't edible. My partner ordered the grilled chicken wrap with no lettuce or sauce ie plain yet it came with all the standard items, her peri chips were also barley touch with peri salt and her garlic bread was even harder than mine.

The staff were clearly rushing and not paying attention at all and not even 10 seconds after the food hits the table the waitress asks "how the food and can I take the menus" yet we haven't even touched the food. Also our main server was wandering around with our food not paying attention at all and came to our table twice with other people food even as our plates are sitting in front of us.

Honestly so disappointed...
