The manager was so rude. I ordered an espresso martini and asked for a straw and was told no because you HAVE to drink this drink without a straw so I was forced to go to the bar and get one myself. When asking what was in the mixed salad his response was ‘salad’. He brought the wrong side when I asked for the cucumber sour cream salad he brought a mixed salad instead and said I couldn’t have the cucumber salad as you have to pay extra which I already knew and was happy to pay for it. After food we sat inside for 10 minutes waiting for service whilst the manager had a chit chat outside. So we sat outside and ordered an espresso martini the manager then made the drinks and left them on the table inside for 15 minutes without bringing them outside to us when he could see we were now sitting outside smoking. I had to go inside and collect the drinks myself and bring them outside after they had been sat on the table 15 minutes inside. Horrible service I will...
Read moreI don't usually do reviews, and I have no connection personally to the restaurant, but I can't stop thinking about how good the food I ate at this place was! We started with the peirogi and we're blown away by the flavour packed into those little dumplings, and surprisingly preferred the potato and cheese to the meat ones (both were delicious). For the main I had the cabbage parcels filled with meat, with fries and whatever sauce it came with was again just so delicious! Usually I would stick to something like brownie for desert, but because everything we'd been served was 10/10 I went for the apple pie because it was bound to be delicious and my god it was! I need more. Now. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is beautifully done out. They have a decent size car park behind the restaurant too. I can't fault this place and can't wait to come back! Thank you! Sadly no photo of the apple pie as I just couldn't...
Read moreWe visited as a party of four adults for a birthday celebration. This was a first time visit and won't be the last.
The menu is quite small but everything we ordered was lovely. Our choice of starters included whipped goats cheese with beetroot and honey, pierogi and chicken liver pate.
For mains we chose Breaded chicken breast with garlic butter, Breaded Polish style pork loin, Ox cheek slow cooked in its own juices and Pan fried cod, topped with breadcrumbs with a lemon sauce
All were very good but favourite were the Ox cheek and cod.
Two desserts were chosen; brownie and ice-cream which were lovely.
Cocktails were good value at 2 for £12 although being charged for a bottle of water for the table took us by surprise.
The restaurant has a large car park at the rear which is a great bonus.
All in all, good food, very reasonably priced and a...
