Absolutely appalling service tonight. We had a booking for 8pm. Food did not arrive till gone 10pm. When the food arrived, they only brought out 4 out of 6 meals. By the time the 5th meal came out, the others had finished eating. No apology from any of the staff. Food was mediocre. I would not recommend going here. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and the whole experience was terrible. Waste of time and money. And to top it all off, we brought a cake with us, and they managed to loose one of the candles. Lastly, if you want to leave the car park, don’t forget to ask for the code to get out the gate, because the staff won’t tell you and you’ll end up locked in. We visited on Friday, the 17th, to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The entry and welcome were fantastic, and we were promptly shown to our table where our drink order was taken. After that, our food order was placed, and I must say, the portions and taste were excellent. As for the service, I understand that everyone starts somewhere. With newer, younger waitstaff, my suggestion would be to pair them with someone more experienced. I was a bit surprised by the old-fashioned paper method for taking orders, but the birthday surprise for my daughter from the waiter was a really nice touch. First visit here. Was a Tuesday night so a quiet evening with only a handful of tables occupied. Nonetheless we were greeted with smile and asked to pick a table, which I love, as opposed to having one picked for you. Decor is beautiful and the venue spacious with high ceilings and soft music playing. A pre starter of bread and dips soon followed all of which was very nice. Had the hot sharing platter starter which we both devoured. Plenty for 2. Both had the mixed meat grill for main which was a generous portion and all very lovely.
