First time visiting this place, menu and being situated in an area with a view looking over Mumbles Bay I was expecting good things. We were greeted and taken upstairs where we were seated (family of 5) and no one else present which initially wasn’t an issue. Great views looking over the beach and Mumbles. The decor (photos attached seemed very basic like what I would describe as a canteen certainly not like an Authentic Italian restaurant. (Photos attached) Also, the floors and seating could do with a professional deep clean especially when we were the first people there and evidence floors hadn’t been cleaned ! Drinks and food ordered quickly and starters arrived fairly promptly and was nice - no complaints. Mains arrived and 2 portions of chips were ‘Luke warm’ and had to be replaced, the chicken and mushroom dish was quite tough to cut. Pizzas were great…! Had to ask for 1 desert which came included as part of the children’s meal and dirty dishes were left on the table whilst my daughter ate her food. As we were seated upstairs and on our own I think we were forgotten about on times and the staff who although are pleasant were clearly young and inexperienced. Prior to giving deserts its routine to remove the old mains dirty dishes - but that wasn’t the case today. No courtesy from the staff asking if we enjoyed, or needed anything or how was the meal etc …! 4 of us ate, starters each and mains drinks - 1 child meal and came to £150.00 I wouldn’t recommend this place and wouldn’t return based on the experience we had today.

Me and My family visited the one in Swansea down Mumbles on the 19th of September 2025.When we got there, the staff was really friendly and welcome me and my family. We ordered on the app And as we will still waiting to order the other half of the food some of it already came even though we didn’t pay for it on the app Which we wasn’t really happy about because we all wanted our food together. Two of us had pizzas they were really nice and the price was reasonable. But the spaghetti Bolognese was really dry only a little bit of mince in it And not that much sauce So I would not recommend the spaghetti Bolognese it was bad Wouldn’t buy it again and for £16. And it was meant to be a birthday meal we felt like we should’ve gone somewhere else but the food already came too quickly so We didn’t have enough time to think. But all in all are experience was good at the Start, but the thing that put us off was the food come too quick when others didn’t get a chance to have their food and how the spaghetti bolognese was. The Price was okay, but kind of bad for the quality of some of the food as Listed in the photos.

We went here for a birthday. To start with the service was excellent and could not fault it. However the food and drinks here are massively overpriced. It's very poor value for money overall. I ordered the spicy one pizza and to be honest it was pathetic the amount of meat on the pizza. The app prices are also different with the app been more expensive on some food. 🤔 The drinks here are nearly twice the price of Wetherspoons pub. £7.50 for a pint of poretti!! £4 for a coke. Your having a laugh. Clear profiteering. The only plus was my partner is undertaking a masters degree and we had student discount. Thank goodness we did not order desserts the prices were ridiculous also and we could not afford to purchase even one. Atmosphere - there is none inside, but the views are good over the mumbles Bay. I would have never have paid these prices unless it was a special occasion. I don't think I will be returning any time soon even with 20% off. 😢

Visited 2 days ago, and was quite disappointed. 2 Persons visited for lunch. I will firstly say that mmost seats were taken up by diners, and the place obviously has some popularity. The staff were efficient, and friendly so again a good point to be able to make. We had 2 pretty common starters of Calamari cooked perfectly with a lovely texture. However the breaded coating was not very nice, it having a number of spices which detracted from the pleasantly flavoured, and well cooked flesh. Accompanying this wa a pesto-mayo dip which was awful, and made the calamari unpalateabl if used. The main course was the real spoiler. Pasta squares filled with crab, and lobster, a sauce with smoke salmon flakes. Sounds wonderful. At no gtime could I taste crab or lobster, occasionally one could taste salmon flakes. The sauce was unpleasant. The whole meal was over seasoned to the extent it was inedible. I love my salt so this was quite bad. In fairness a lovely member of staff saw that I had left my meal, and without hesitation offered to replace with any other dish. Not wanting to make a fuss I eventually requested spaghetti bolognese as a simple, and quick replacement. This was bland, and over seasoned yet again (perhaps I had visited on an off day for the chef, or they had just come across a stash of cheap salt :-) ) My wife's main course was no more than OK. She cooks far better herself. Despite the fact Prezzo replaced my main course, and they also discounted the whole meal we will not be revisiting Prezzo as it is not to our taste, but having been rather negative in this review, I do wish to point out that it is popular, has easy access being next to the public car park, has good quality staff, and is situated overlooking the promenade by the beach. The shops in Mumbles are also...

Visited here, its safe to say I wont be wasting the money again 😕

  1. asked to move because we were plonked in the middle of the walk way & by the door, I felt as thought people were standing over me etc - they did move us but that was after making a big fuss even though there was plenty of room and it was fairly early
  2. my partners pasta dish was dry and average, the pizza wasn't particularly great either!
  3. its great that they offer plenty of veggie, vegan and gluten free options, this is definitely a pro rather than a con. The only issue is there is little information on what the 'vegetarian option available' actually means. i.e when I ordered the vegetarian I was confused as it looked like I had chicken in my pasta and it wasn't made clear that it was THIS isn't Chicken. Which was fine but it could have saved me a question really.
  4. the food is overpriced, sub par and so was the fruit coolers I had.
  5. me and my partner had to explain to the waiter that we weren't splitting the bill and paying on one card, as he assumed we were friends. My partner counted and I told him a total of 4 times that we were paying on one card as he kept asking, by that time everyone sitting around us were looking over and shaking their heads

All in all I won't bother coming back here as we came away from Prezzo feeling like we had wasted £61, wish I stuck with my usual...
