⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience at Smash & Grub – highly recommended!

We visited Smash & Grub on Melbourne Road in Leicester today with family, and from the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and well looked after by the staff. The customer service was genuinely excellent, and it made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable.

The cleanliness and organisation of the place stood out immediately. Everything—from the seating area to the kitchen—looked spotless and well-maintained. The décor is modern and stylish, and the seating was super comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

Now, let’s talk about the food—incredible! Every member of my family was impressed. I had the Miami Blaze beef burger, and honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time—juicy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. We also tried the succulent chicken bites coated in Cheeto dust, which quickly became a family favourite—so unique and packed with flavour!

What really set Smash & Grub apart was their signature sauces—you can tell they’ve been developed in-house with real thought. Each one had a distinctive taste that elevated the meal to another level. It’s not something you come across often, and I was genuinely blown away.

To top it off, everything is very reasonably priced, which makes the quality and experience even more impressive. We also tried their milkshakes—delicious and again, great value for money.

We visited on a Friday night, was nice as you entered with the interior being how it was - not too much and not too less. There was space for us to sit and didn’t feel crowded. We got welcomed by the guys behind the till with them handing us over a menu. We had a look at the menu and decided to go with a family meal and as we ordered that we got a strawberry milkshake whilst we waited for our food. The milkshake came and OMG the texture and thickness of the milkshake as well as the flavour was on point! It was so good and the guys behind the till even gave my two little sons their own mini cups of milkshake! How kind! We had done a takeaway so we took our food home with us ..

Two uncle Sam’s classes - these were beef pattys and made to perfection full of flavour with gherkins and sauce Two o.g fillet burgers - these were chicken and full of flavour - like I mean the chicken was cooked well and the cheese complimented the burger 20 tots - crispy and lovely bite sized for the kids 1 large fries which were your standard but went well with the sauces 4 drinks of your choice 2 dips which you can choose from 14 different choices .. it was hard so we told the guy to choose for us but the Korean bbq we got was so good and would deffo get that again.

Overall a good place to go for food and I’m going to have to pay them another visit to try the other things on the menu for sure

I recently tried Smash N Grub , a new burger joint in town, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed! From the moment I placed my order, the service was friendly and efficient, with my food arriving piping hot and freshly made.

I tried a variety of the smashed beef and chicken burgers. The meat was perfectly cooked—juicy and tender—while the melted cheese added the ideal creamy richness. The combination of fresh lettuce, crispy pickles, and a lightly toasted bun made every bite feel balanced and satisfying. I also loved the tangy special sauce that tied everything together.

I couldn't resist trying their loaded fries on the side, and wow, they did not disappoint! They were smothered in cheese, chicken bits, salad and a savory sauce that brought all the flavors together in a way that was absolutely mouthwatering.
