As someone who's not easily impressed I can safely say Sweeney's on the Park far exceeds the definition of "a pub", that's why Its the only one I frequently attend. It is a unique statement within the local area. Sweeney's offers a wide range of entertainment every single night of the week catering for all types of clientele. Sporting events are shown throughout the bar on a regular basis and the social media platforms keeps you well informed. For those who prefer a more formal experience, the lounge offers the perfect space, and, when the variety of live performers are playing, the crowds gather. A more relaxed space can be enjoyed in the traditional bar area. Aiden in Sweeney’s Bar has zero customer service skills, I have been to Sweeney’s many times before but never have had an issue with anyone apart from this member of staff who lacks customer service, morals and kindness in every way of the word. This is a well run pub on Pollokshaws road, south side facing Queens Park boating pond. It has to be well run as it is one of the biggest ,if not THE biggest football sports bar.
