We went to this Authentic Pakistani Restaurant which specializes in Peshawari cuisine ( The Capital city of KPK province of Pakistan ). We must say that it was closest taste to Back home we ever tried in UK. They cooked our Chicken Peshawri Karahi all fresh. We don't use black pepper or chillies. They tailored it to our needs with perfection. We are very glad. We as parents still can eat spicy food but our children who are raised in UK have zero tolerance for spicy food. As a result we don't go to other Pakistani or Indian Restaurants ( there are few in Cardiff) even if we want to eat ( children don't eat anything there due to spices and hence only Naan ) there . We have been going to Turkish & Middle eastern Restaurants ( which are good but we still were missing Authentic food from our own Country Pakistan ). Our children enjoyed the food here as we told no spice in Karahi. Their Chapli Kebab was already low in spice. They had Kabuli Pulao ( again not spicy like biryani ) . In short all of us enjoyed food. Now finally we have an Authentic Pakistani Restaurant where we can go as a family. Service Team was caring & respectful. On reviews some customers have mentioned about long waiting time to get the food displeasing them . I was rather happy to wait for some time in order to get freshly made fully cooked food. We must remember that those Restaurants which bring food in no time either use pre-cooked food or under cooked. This Restaurant makes sure that food served to customers is freshly & fully cooked. Decor is nice. I wish that we support this newly opened Restaurant fully as its food is so tasteful & fresh. This certainly will not disappoint Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Afghani customers as their food matches to their needs & taste buds. I can say with confidence that it will well serve Local British, Turkish, Middle Eastern , Kurdish & European Customers equally ( these nations don't eat spicy food ) - they however like us should tell them to use no or low spice...

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after the exceptional experience I had recently. I was dining at TASTE OF PESHAWAR and was lucky to be served by a waiter named "KASHEEF" i think. From the moment we were seated, he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed polite, professional, and extremely attentive without being overbearing.
He had great recommendations from the menu, anticipated our needs, and handled everything with a calm, confident demeanor. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us a great experience, and honestly, he made our night.
In a world where good service is becoming rare, "KASHEEF" stands out. He’s a real asset to your team someone who represents the restaurant with class and dedication. I hope management recognizes his hard work because talents like his deserve to be appreciated and rewarded.
We’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for...
Read moreAt first appearance the restaurant didn't look too appealing as the were only one or two tables on the ground floor. However, we went in and found that there were a lot more tables on the 1st floor. The decor was quite basic but everything looked clean and tidy. We ordered a variety of dishes - daal, chicken, mixed grill, biriyani and naan - and can honestly say that everything was hot and tasty. The portion sizes were sufficient to allow 2 or 3 people to share each dish. The service was very good and there were no errors in our order and the dishes were delivered within an acceptable timescale. The most pleasant part was that the bill was a lot less than I had expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking...
