We recently visited Tea Times in Leicester, excited to relive the memories of our time in Qatar. Unfortunately, the experience didn't meet our expectations. The parking nearby was expensive and limited. It was not an issue. We travelled 44 miles just for Tea time. However Once inside, the space was crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and lacked energy. They were not energetic enough to greet and welcoming the customers.
The familiar aroma of Tea Times was a pleasant reminder of Qatar, but the taste of the tea and food fell short. Portions were minimal and not worth the high prices. For example, the chicken popcorn, which my daughter loved in Qatar, was disappointing in both quantity and preparation. We spent about £40 and left still feeling hungry. Even the portion of chips, which cost £3, was very minimal compared to a local fish and chip shop where you get a decent portion for around £2.70.
Compared to other local eateries, the value for money here was poor. Despite our high hopes, we were let down by the overall experience. I hope Tea Times can improve their service and portions to better reflect the quality we...
Read moreI went on last Wednesday (10/07) for the first time. Food was amazing, and really good service.
I decided to go again today (15/07) The food was amazing as last time. However, the service was really bad. It was a lady who served us. Her friends came over, they had the food and she was busy talking to them and was not looking after the customers. She served me cold chips, messed up with other people's order. She had lots of customer queuing up and she went outside to say bye to her friends and was chatting with them. She was very disorganized. I usually don't give any feedback, but the fact that this affected so many customers, I had to leave a review about it. The customer's were not happy with her service.
I hope Tea time looks at improving their service and focus more on...
Read moreA lovely spot that I had to visit after hearing about its opening. The staff are friendly and provide great service. Though the interior isn’t large, the relaxing décor creates a pleasant atmosphere.
Regarding the food, the portion sizes could be more generous, especially the loaded fries. The burgers are solid, and the flamingo chicken with their special sauces is a must-try. The ‘French toast’ was enjoyable as a dessert, though it felt misnamed—it doesn’t quite match traditional French toast. The mojitos are fantastic, and the teas are packed with flavor, but the qahwa could use a stronger kick.
Overall, the food is tasty, and it’s a nice spot to unwind, but it leans towards being on the pricier side. Great spot to chill with friends and possibly a small...
