A Hairy Experience. Third time we had been there in a month. Food is actually okay, credit to the chefs but the older lady who I think manages or owns it is very rude. We ordered a few dishes, the first one that turned up (salad) had a long white/grey hair on it. We politely pointed it out to them within 10-20 seconds of it arriving and asked if we could have another made, however the older woman took offence to it. She first of all said oh it's from your jumper but then realising it was 10 inches long changed it to "you brought it in with you" ? We didn't think it was a huge deal as it happens sometimes but just preferred a non-hairy salad. She refused to provide a new salad and then started bad mouthing us at the bar, my wife is a shy and in-confronting Thai and therefore understood everything she said. We then decided to eat up fast, pay the bill, leave and never come back as we are not the type to argue with someone but while eating the beef stir fry I got another hair. We left with empty bellies, insulted and £20+ down. It's such a shame because the food is alright but the lady is very unkind. Not the land of smiles or hairnets on this occasion. Khup Kunh Krab on a plus point, we discovered a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant further down the road in partick which filled...

Had dinner here a few times, with my partner; family friends; relatives. There is consistent quality in the dishes served, and the menu is just about diverse enough. Staff mostly friendly, though can be forgetful on occasions. The place may feel a little cramped but this didn't affect my experience.
There is a compulsory 10% surcharge for parties of 6 or more - this might be written down somewhere, but it certainly wasn't mentioned at time of booking and we only found out about it when the bill arrived. On that occasion, the table was asked to be returned in 90 minutes, again not mentioned at time of booking.
Could consider for small gatherings. Would recommend for diners who only cares about the...
Read moreVery over priced (not much cheaper than Chaopriya which is much better and a beautiful building), starters were very poor, the Thai fishcake tasted like a flavourless sponge and had clearly just been microwaved. Service is decent, but a bit annoying. The head waiter has lots of jokes for every situation but they are clearly part of a standard 'routine' and can be a bit OTT. Also very determined to push a 'local Thai beer' that I had never heard of despite spending two months in Thailand. Seemed disappointed when I ordered Chang (an actual Thai beer) so I assume the margins on the recommended beer are very high, and my friend who ordered it switch straight to Chang afterwards so assuming it wasn't very good. Mains were average, but not much to write home about. I won't...
