The Diner — Restaurant in Great Britain

We visited the Diner twice during our stay; the first for dinner. It was a very disappointing visit. The restaurant was half empty but we were still told there was a 45m wait for food. There was no music and the staff were miserable. They also had no gluten free buns so I had to have just a hotdog. Our second visit was supposed to be a quick lunch stop. We wanted the nachos and a milkshake. The girl who served us was so miserable and barely gave us eye contact. She went to check about the pulled pork nachos being gluten free and when she returned and told us they were not she didn't wait to see what we wanted instead, and left. We waited for her to return. Once she did we asked for the plain nachos, again she said she needed to check, and left. After a while I went off to find someone to order and was told she would come... by this time we had been in the restaurant for over half an hour and didn't even have our milkshake! We decided to leave! We normally love the dinner ( at bognor) but if we returned to minehead would not be keen to return....a very dull, ...

After not the best experience with my apartment I hoped for better on the complex so decided to give the diner a try and unfortunately I was yet again disappointed 90% of the staff we're rude and the food was worse my partners burger was overcooked and when mentioned to the manager he was told it was due to a supply issue the chicken was brown, my meal wasn't much better the batter was dry and burnt I couldn't even bring myself to eat it we complained and said we wasn't happy we understand this may have been disheartening but we wasn't happy about it either. Now not that we was expecting for anyone to butter us up we did expect a apology however we was given the silent treatment and ignored we got up to settle up the drinks bill to again be greeted with rude staff. We were really looking forward to our meal here but we're left very disappointed with whole experience. When we sat down there was no explanation on whether it was table service or via the app. After 20mins and no one coming to our table we ended up ordering on the app. Starters were nice but plates weren't cleared after we had finished. After 30 mins and no sign of mains a waitress came and collected one of our plates and didn't collect the rest. Eventually mains arrived and various parts of our mains were missing so we had to flag someone down to rectify.
