Walnut bar and restaurant — Restaurant in Great Britain

We recently visited walnut Bar and restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was excellent-friendly and attentive-and the food was absolutely delicious.

We tried the Koobideh Kabab and Joojeh Kabab (chicken), and both were cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic Persian flavour. After our meal, we were treated to complimentary Persian tee and a generous amount of sweet, tasty Baklava, which it was lovely touch.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it not just great for casual dining but also perfect for parties and events, specially since they serve alcohol 🍺 too, plus there’s free parking just round the corner, which is super convenient.

Dropped in Walnet and tried the aromatic shisha. Wee bowls of snack and under cover it was enchanting way to spend 30min. Repeat customer at Walnut. Beautiful mixed platter for 2. So stuffed that we had leftover to supplement out lunched with drizzle of pomegranate molasses - Yum enjoy! We dropped into our new local for some authentic Persian cuisine - rich lamb, herb and bean stew & shish kebab with full complements of sides. The food was cooked to order and was tasty. We paired it with savoury yoghurt drink doogh and finished dinner off with complementary tea & baklava. The service was attentive and for portion size, you got value for money. I walked out comfortably full and even had a doggy bag for lunch...

We ate in Walnut for a birthday meal. It was our first visit but definitely will not be our last!!! 🫶🌟🫶

The food was outstanding and our waiter was also friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the Mixed Grill for 2 as our main. 😋😋 It was HUGE! Everything was so tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The food smelled incredible and I wish we could have bottled that smell! We couldn’t finish it so look a doggy bag home and it was still just as good the next day. ❤️🌟🍽️

Really cannot think of anywhere else in Glasgow that you could get similar food. 📍🤷🏼‍♀️ Really highly recommend going! Youll be in for treat 😉 20 out of 10...
