HJ's Diner — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Very poor service from the young Man service the ice-cream today. Selling "super sundaes" advertised in large tubs, but sells then in very small tubs. When asked about it, he responded "you didn't think they were that size did you?" - well yeah I'm expecting to receive what is advertised especially at £4 per item.. And "when you see billboards they aren't the same are they". How rude and should not be working with the public with this attitude!!.

Very poor attitude and needless to say my family will not be coming here again, even though we always go to this stall after visiting the model village.

Also with the false advertisement of sizes, since they are clearly not "super sundaes" - this will be getting reported to trading standards as well for false advertisement, which I hope the owner of the establishment understands is illegal..

Just love fish & chips and always on the hunt for the best. HJs is very popular and service is very quick and friendly. A couple of young lads were constantly cleaning the tables ready for the next customer. The chips were probably the best I ever had. The fish is the reason why I didn’t give it full 5 stars. It was cooked properly but the batter was more like a bread batter rather than a nice n crispy. The fish did lack flavour and batter was very bland.
