Definitely areas of improvement needed.

The only plus’s was its location! right on the beech front and they are dog friendly which was great as we had our dog with us.

regrettably, this was the best aspect of our visit. Upon entering we were met with an overwhelming stale dog smell which could easily be addressed with regular cleaning and air freshening, we also received an uninviting stare from the member of staff behind the bar, not a great first impression’s.

Service was really slow, for our simple order of two ham, egg, and chips which took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it did, the chips were overcooked and tasted of old cooking oil, while the ham was clearly a low quality packet version which isn’t a problem it was predominantly fat with very little meat, i couldn’t eat, The only saving grace was the fried egg.

Its location is fantastic, and with some major changes, it could truly shine.
