I never make reviews…ever, but to be honest I am so so fed up with the service here that they deserve one. I have gone here on average 2-3 times over the past few weeks and every single time I have had numerous issues here. I’ve been hopeful thinking it will be better each time but it never does so quite frankly I will not even bother trying to go here anymore.
advertised to be 24hours yet when I’ve gone a couple of times around midnight they aren’t even open to serving neither indoors nor drive thru.
burgers aren’t placed somewhat nicely at all. I’m not expecting perfection from them as if it were a proper restaurant, but I at least expect the ingredients to be IN the burger and not scattered around the box / wrapping. As well as the burger bun to be ON the burger and not half hanging on causing the sauce and ingredients to make such a mess. Food has often been cold too.
the app NEVER seems to work lately. I have been trying to claim their daily offers but whenever I try check out there are always ‘technical difficulties’. You would expect that I could still claim the offer as well as redeem my points by providing my app code to the staff instead but nope; there’s been 2/3 occasions now where a staff member has said I can only get the offer via paying in the app (which is unfair when I am owed and eligible for the offer yet it is not my fault the app doesn’t work. And it’s not like the app hasn’t been working for just the one day…it seems to be every time I’ve tried to gone for the past few weeks!). BUT then today guess what?? I tried again and asked the staff member if I could claim their app offer thru them and they did it with no issues??? So clearly they’ve always been able to do it and the prior staff were either incompetent or just lazy.
I also got told today that I wasn’t allowed to order a SMALL milkshake and that I was only allowed to get a medium or large. I asked why and the staff member wasn’t 100% sure but said that they’ve never done that before…. Well I have been ordering a small milkshake with pretty much every order over the past few weeks at THIS particular branch. She then had the audacity to say ‘you must’ve been getting a happy meal’. No, no I have not, I do not order happy meals. I never get a medium or large either because I know I can’t finish them and a medium is almost £1 more than a small. It’s a waste when I can’t finish the drink. So I have no clue what the hell was up with that today. Trying to scam and get as much money out of me as possible? I don’t know…
All I know is I’m just sick of these constant issues here and it’s not worth it anymore. The staff are all just rude and unhelpful. I’m sure some of you are fortunate enough to encounter no issues with this branch and maybe I just have awful luck with them but personally it’s far too many issues for me to bother with...
Read moreWorst McDonalds experience. After begrudgingly being given napkins and ketchup and being told I couldn't have cream for my espresso, my young family was treated horribly by management. After ordering 3 happy meals, specifically WITH TOYS, for our sons and two meals for us, our boys were disappointed when they received books instead of toys. We politely asked for them to exchange the books, but they refused to exchange one after it was accidentally opened by my 8 year old. After requesting to speak to the manager, she told me that McDonalds would loose too much money if they made the exchange (???!!!) She then openly welcomed a negative review and told my husband that the reviews made no difference anyway. Disturbingly, when she took my other two children's unopened books back, she did not throw them away, which only leads me to believe she intends to reuse them and give them to other children in spite of them being handled by my children (in order to save McDonalds money)! COVID-19..... We saw staff behave in a similar manner with discarded but unopened sauce packets as well, which is highly suspect all things considered. In light of COVID and the contemptuous attitude of the management I would suggest giving this place a wide berth. Read moreThe worst McDonalds I have ever came across. Quick 2mins drive through turned into issues galore. The place is as busy as you would expect, but based on asking around, the service is atrocious for most. Tried to order a few items, but not only did a simple order of a large flat white coffee and mcflurries take ages to get the server to take correctly, we were asked to wait. Pay and wasn't given a receipt, so park in the usual spots for waiting. Just to watch 20mins of others with larger meals, who are randomly scattered across most of that side of the car park in any old order, get served. Tell the delivery guy who says he check and after 5mins go to the door where he goes and asks about our order. 2mins later he asks what we ordered for another 3-4 min wait for him to deliver very apologetically the Mcflurries without the coffee. Another minute wait and we ask again for him to bring a small capoucino coffee out, which wasn't even the large flat white we asked for. So after nearly 30mins we gave up after the worst service I have ever received from any fast food restaurant. The delivery guy was the only other one I feel for as he seemed to spend about 25% of his time wandering around a car park looking for cars or apologetically returning with missed items etc for others as well which wasn't his fault.
