Giorgio's Pizza — Restaurant in Havant

Before I add some critique, I'll say that the experience was awesome and that my friends and I will be returning regularly. Pizza taste was excellent. Half and half pizza: genius. Recommendations in the menu (eg 12" enough for two, with side dishes: very good). Service: friendly, offered useful suggestions. Environment: clean, simple, spacious.

Now the niggles: the garlic bread was (seemed to be?) a pizza base topped with garlic butter & cheese. So not the yeasty, fluffy, tearable baguettes one might expect. Maybe there were different options on the menu for the bread and we just happened to order this version. It was a little tough to chew, but again I had in mind a different kind of garlic bread expectation which might have affected my experience. Not brilliant.

Music: when we arrived it was quiet (2 tables taken) and no music. Awesome. Conversation was easy. A few more tables were filled and the music went on… and up. Now I'm having trouble hearing my friends sat, literally, next to me. Eating out involves conversation… I don't know why some restaurants try to blank out everyone's chatter with louder music, but please don't because it's...

Exceptional quality in terms of providing a description for Giorgio's pizza emporium. Was with friends recently that normally do not eat pizza as a meal, as most brand name takeaways are far too laden with grease, salt and inferior ingredients resting on their stodgy dough base. But in agreement with many other reviews here, Giorgi’s pizza base is as it should be with authentic Italian style. Flat and absolutely no grease just a pleasant ‘crisp’ on the outer edge. And the toppings, almost perfect in proportion and not too much sauce making the eating experience far more pleasurable. I sincerely wish everyone at Giorgio’s many years of success and hope they never change anything in terms of quality. I myself would always prefer to pay more for quality than quantity. As indeed did my friends agree with that thought too, as at last they can enjoy proper Italian style pizza again. And will remain repeat and loyal customers all the time, we continue to get the level of quality of food that we thoroughly...

I have been looking for a pizza place like this gor ages!! Easily the best around. Forget about who ever or where ever you get your pizza now and get it here! Proper Italian style pizzas. Authentic stretched, thin base and delicious original toppings. Italian meats, olives, chilli, piquante peppers, smoked pancetta....loads but none of the stuff you'll get on a big brand pizza, which I think is a massive plus.

12 or 20 inch sizes available (the 20" is a beast, easily enough food for 4!). They do dips as well, their garlic and herb comes in a huge pot for just £1 and is way tastier than the competitors versions!

They only deliver to po7 and po8 which is a shame, but its that good I'm happy to collect it each time (po6- feel free to add this to your deliverable postcodes though 😬😬😬).
