I am currently sat here trying to enjoy my first coffee out in ages and the entire experience has been completely ruined by a screaming child. The moronic mother and grandmother sit there doing nothing and make no attempt whatsoever to quieten the child. This is an ADULT SPACE - if your child can’t be quiet, go outside. This is not a nursery. Frankly your child should be able to sit relatively quietly for 20 minutes - if they can’t, you’re a bad parent. Feel bloody sorry for teachers having to deal with these spoilt brats totally unchecked. Naturally the staff do nothing and just allow everyone’s experience to be ruined. The cafe is situated within Next in a very small retail park. It's on the upper floor, but there is a lift. Service is never the fastest at Costa as the coffee is always made to order: good coffee isn't instant.
However, some customers are a pain. One girl sat with her feet on the chair. Another customer complained to the staff who basically shrugged.
