I decided to make use of the take away service that Nando offer and so placed an order with the Horsham restaurant. However once I had picked up the order, which was packed into a lovely large brown paper bag, and had driven home - we live approx 5 miles outside of Horsham - I discovered upon dishing out the order to various members of family that there were items missing from the order. I telephoned the restaurant to make them aware of this and was offered two choices: - I could drive all the way back to collect the missing items. They could issue me a credit on these items for when I next placed an order with them. Being that I am not a regular customer of Nando’s, I didn’tparticularly Like either of these options, so I asked them to refund the cost of the missing items to the account that had been used to pay the bill, to which they agreed. It is now nearly 1 week since this issue and as yet I have seen no refund. I would strongly recommend anybody using the take away service, in the future, to check the order before leaving the restaurant, to avoid this issue happening to them. Very...

The food was fine I guess. It tasted good, Nando's usually tastes good but this experience was grating and unsatisfactory.
The main issues were the time it took to get the food and the fact that the food was cold when it got to us. While my own dish was fine, my family's food was cold, one much colder than the other. The food had clearly not been prepared to all come out at the same time, and was left out on the pass along with about a dozen other dishes. The waiting staff were standing around, at least 3 at a time visibly not doing anything, when food was there waiting to be taken. If they were waiting until a whole order was ready to be taken, then fair enough, but then the food should've been prepared to compensate for this system.
I'm not entirely sure whether this boils down to a lack of communication or planning, but what happened is not what happens at a good restaurant. I know Nando's can be good, great even, but this time wasn't good. I hope this branch can improve.
Also a final nail in the coffin, no frozen...

FOOD: It took 20 minutes to order as the app deleted our order twice. The food took 20 minutes to come. I watched my garlic bread drying up under the plate warmer for 15 minutes as the staff laughed and joked. To say the least it was inedible, and the chips on our 3 plates were burnt and seemed to be cooked twice to warm them up.
SERVICE: After being seated and told only order on the app, the service was minimal. I witnessed all the staff (ALL mask free) having a great time, laughing and joking, as I waited patiently trying to amuse my 1yo son before our food came. I did however over hear one server anounce a complaint of the amount of push chairs within the restaurant. When asked if my meal was ok (mouth full) I shook my head which was ignored as the server walked away. In every Nandos I have attended I have always had a farewell from the teams, except Horsham.
ANY POSITIVES: The Chicken.
Would I return to Horsham?...
