Mexica — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

I've lived in England for 3 years and I'm a native Californian. In that time I've only found 3 places on this island worth getting Mexican food at. None of them close to where I live, until now. I made the best mistake in ordering a plethora of their food, half expecting to throw some bit of it away. I got a Chicken Chorizo burrito. It was big, or standard sized, a side of tacos, and regular sized Nachos. Their hot salsa is made with Chile Arbol and their next level one is Habanero. I opted for the Arbol one because it was my first time here. I wanted to make sure I didn't misjudge the flavor of the food with the heat of the peppers. The food is excellent, as far as I know it's the best in the Midlands (high top 5 on the island). Other notes: One of the owners are from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Mexica is great, the most authentic Mexican food i've found in the UK. I ordered minced beef tacos and some chicken tacos as well as a 'side' of loaded nachos (big enough to be a meal on it's own...). The tacos were awesome, perfect home made corn tortillas. Meat was flavoursome and their salsa was fantastic. I opted to have Guacamole on my nachos which was delicious, perfectly creamy with a nice tang. I'd thoroughly recommend Mexica.

I recently ordered dinner from Mexica and as a regular consumer of Mexican food I was bitterly disappointed with the overall quality and taste of the food. The portions are tiny and ingredients such as the salsa from my nachos were missing. There was little or no seasoning to the food.
