City Pizza — Restaurant in Ipswich

Ordered a pizza through Uber Eats 20 mins past midnight. It showed me my order should arrive between 12.20 and 12.40 am. At 1am I have requested an update. No contact. 1.15 am I called and have been told my pizza is in the oven and will be here in 10 mins. At 1.50am I have called again and said it's a joke and I request a refund. I said not to bother with the pizza anymore. I have been told the driveris in front of my house, had a look and nobody was there... I said I will request a refund from uber eats and the guy agreed to accept it when it comes through.10 mins later I got a call from the driver that he is outside with my food as he just arrived. He didn't have a clue of what's happening. I refused to accept the food after 1h40mins wait. This place is a joke! First and last time...

Visited this place today, either though their called “The City Grill” on google, they have rebranded the shop and named it “City Express Chicken”. In terms of pricing, I think they were great. I got two 15” Pizza’s & can of drink for £15, they accept card payment and have a nice spacious waiting area, the kitchen is open plan so you can see how the food is being prepared. Now the food on the other hand wasn’t the greatest, they were extremely stingy with the toppings, I requested my pizzas to be thin crust but they completely ignored that. I have been ordering pizza from here for years and it has always been OK. Today I went into the shop and stood for 5 minutes waiting to at least be acknowledged, a member of staff was making a pizza he knew we were there but totally ignored us. Eventually another man came, he was eating and licking his fingers 😫 and looked filthy, he also ignored us. After seeing the state of the staff we decided to go next door to Chicago pizza. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. So if your looking for good food served by friendly clean staff then avoid...
