Central Canteen — Restaurant in Ipswich

Was going there regularly until they upped the prices which is not an issue because of the times we live in but when they increased the breakfast price £2.00 the big mistake was taking a hash brown and piece of toast off the plate instead of paying £9.90 for full English with 2 hash browns and 2 toast u now pay nearly £12.00 4 less food 1 hash brown and 1 toast & portions have all shrunk. It's a rip off & also the owner being greedy 4 more profits,forget the customer worry more about profits not a good look. Will not be going back on principle. Hopefully people will realise...

The service is friendly and good. The menu is safe basics, mostly grilled not fried. Quality plate of dinner/breakfasts etc and good value for money. The eating area is spacious and light. They do close early on 'slow' days. I feel relaxed and at home here. ❤️ I'm on a well known Slimming Club eating plan and they were happy to accommodate my swaps and the side salad was huge!
