Suitor&Co — Restaurant in Ireland

So, me and my wife just had brunch, here, earlier today – Saturday 9th August 2025. Most enjoyable!!

My wife had been previously but for me, on her high recommendation, this was my first visit.

Suitor and Co are in a great position, nicely set out inside with some pavement seating out front; the sun was shining this morning so lots of sun both inside and outside this venue. Gorgeous.

Excellent welcome: Ella; thank you – such prompt service with a winning smile.

Cheerful table service: Euan; thank you - your customer service skills are well honed and much valued.

Great coffee: Barista Ben – fab, Ben! And yet another marvellous smile from Ben with his genuine focus on getting this aspect – great coffee - spot on right!

This is a little business but big on their welcome and quality tasting food; these are clearly not cheap ingredients going into the fare served up - there was a richness and depth to all I tasted today; so a shout out now to Molly, Chris’, Gareth and Kurt in the kitchen: you are nailing it guys; well done! Keep up the good work! Yum! Yum!

My wife and I both had ‘The Cure’ – smashed avocado on sourdough on top of which again were two hash browns along with two perfectly cooked poached eggs all served two really tasty rashers of bacon: so scrumptious and just the right portion (for us) not too much not too little; Perfect!

We both had coffee (with oat milk), also, which again was a great match to the food and really got our late(ish) day off to the best of starts.

Finally, I had an opportunity, as we were leaving to talk, briefy, to joint owners Julie-Anne and chef Anna; two very focussed business ladies who truly and self-evidently adore their staff, their ‘family’ as they call them, as much as they adore creating tasty food at reasonable prices; thank you, ladies for providing such a well-managed place to eat as well as (you explained to me), a venue to come together, as a community and grow together! Well done, stay focused, keep my seat warm.

And yes. I do always try and get names of those who give such good service, where ever I wander – it matters; without this level of acknowledgment they - the team - can be all too easily overlooked. But not today! I say: go give this place a try yourself – I really do recommend....

Absolutely lovely spot — can’t recommend it enough! I came all the way from Saudi Arabia, and this place was one of the absolute highlights of my journey in NI. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Service? Spot on. Food? Mind-blowing. You instantly feel at home.

We kicked things off with coffee — smooth, light, and just the perfect start.

Then came dessert — we tried the Graceland, inspired by Elvis Presley’s favorite sandwich (yep, peanut butter, jam, and bacon) — and oh sweet heavens, it worked. The mix with granola? Genius.

For mains, we went for the potato & leek soup with grilled cheese — heavenly comfort food. The soup had this velvety texture and hugged my soul, and the sandwich? Crispy outside, gooey magic inside.

And don’t get me started on the legendary mufflers, Oh my goodness. Lord have mercy — they’re massive, satisfying, and crazy delicious. One of those “stick with you for two days” kind of muffins (no joke). Pure bliss.

If you’re anywhere near, go. Whether you’re local or flying in from across the world like me, it’s 100% worth it. Feels like a warm Irish hug with every bite ☘️ 🚆 🏗️ 🚢...

I recently visited this cafe and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by the most attentive waiter Ben, who was so nice , friendly and informative of the menu. This restaurant has everything, from healthy slow cooked porridges, smoothies and fresh delicious sandwiches, I was treating myself, I opted for the ‘Ultimate cure’, and it didn’t disappoint, the most amazing breakfast, between the texture of the sourdough and flavours I was blown away, this was top quality and the chefs are amazing. I like a nice sweet after a meal and I was spoilt for choice with a selection of bakes, pastries and scones, I had the homemade apple crumble scone with fresh cream and homemade jam, just amazing, these guys know how to satisfy, talented chef Anna & Julianne aim to please and take great pride in their craft. Amazing latte with cinnamon, I cant recommend this place enough, will definitely be back, such a friendly inviting approach and relaxing atmosphere for chill...
