A Brunch Wonderland at Brew!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brew is nothing short of a brunch paradise, and my recent visit left me utterly delighted. This cozy eatery knows how to elevate your brunch experience with its incredible offerings.
First, let's talk about the Indian Breakfast. It was a flavorful journey through the heart of Indian cuisine. The aromatic spices and vibrant colors on the plate were a treat for the senses. The puris were thin and crispy, the channa was rich and flavorful, and the masala beans were the perfect accompaniment. It was like a mini culinary trip to India right on my plate. A five-star experience in itself!
Next up, the Strawberry and Nutella French Toast. Oh my, this dish was pure indulgence. The thick slices of toast were generously slathered with Nutella and adorned with fresh strawberries. Each bite was a perfect blend of sweet and slightly tangy goodness. It was like having dessert for brunch, and I loved every mouthful of it.
And then there's the Shakshuka. Brew's take on this classic dish was a revelation. The eggs were perfectly poached in a rich and savory tomato sauce, and the spices added just the right amount of kick. Served with sourdough bread, it was a hearty and satisfying option that left me craving for more.
What makes Brew truly exceptional is not just the outstanding food but also the ambiance and service. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere makes it the ideal spot to unwind and savor your meal. The staff is attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure your brunch experience is top-notch.
I also appreciated Brew's commitment to quality ingredients. The freshness of the strawberries in the French toast and the authentic flavors in the Indian Breakfast and Shakshuka were a testament to their dedication to serving the best.
In conclusion, if you're a brunch enthusiast like me, Brew is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're in the mood for an Indian culinary adventure, craving a sweet and indulgent treat, or looking for a savory delight like Shakshuka, this place has it all. With a charming atmosphere and impeccable service to match, Brew deserves every bit of its five-star rating. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tempting...

I was super excited to find a halal place with such a great breakfast and brunch menu. What bowled me over were the words “beef brisket” - how unique!! The cafe is spacious with plenty of parking to the side of the building. Once sat down you scan a QR code on your table to see the delicious menu. I’m not going to lie - I got really excited when looking at it. Then my eyes caught “Canadian breakfast” - scrambled eggs, avocado, beef brisket, hash browns, AND pancakes, caramelised pineapple and maple syrup” - this plate looked so random but i’m a person who loves to have sweet after savoury so I thought that this would definitely be the breakfast I tried. My husband went for the full english - fried eggs, baked beans, beef sausage, beef brisket, hash brown, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. The portion sizes were great value for money. At £9.95 - cheaper than a lot of places we’d been to previously AND the fact that we could have meat on top was just chefs kiss My tea came in lovely pot, I got at least 3 cups from it and it was loose leaf tea - which made me happy! Husband said his coffee was lovely. Now lets talk about taste - when my plate came, I just got so excited. I tackled it from savoury to sweet but tried a piece of each thing individually before eating it together. The brisket - ooff melt in the mouth. I wanted more 😅 although I would be too full to eat it. Hash browns and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. Avocados beautifully seasoned. Then moving on to sweet - i got each pancake, topped it with the pineapple and poured the maple syrup on top. Let me tell you - the chilli flakes on the pineapple is a brilliant touch! The combination of the super sweet, then fluffy pancake and then that tiny hit of chilli - it was just SO good. For me, this breakfast was perfect as I got my sweet and savoury fix all on one plate. My husband said his full english was the BEST one he’s ever had!! I tried some of his sausage - and it was juicy and well seasoned.
I will definitely be visiting this place again to try some more of their delicious looking...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place and having read the reviews I thought I'd gone prepared. The outside wasn't appealing with overflowing bins right by the car park. It's an old office building which is fine but I am thought the layout could be much better (especially for the price you pay). We arrived and were told we would have to wait - fine no problem. They couldn't give us a rough idea of how long and would call us when a table was ready. We had to scan to get access to the menu which I thought was very odd. We went at 3pm which I think was a bad time as they are in between winding down brunch/breakfast menu. So after deliberating what to get we ended up just ordering hot drinks and cake. The cakes are not priced and our bill was extortionate. I'm sure the food is lovely as most of the reviews say but I felt a little let down in how things are run. Why not have the whole menu on offer? Why close for an hour in the middle of the day? Unfortunately I probably won't go back as it was just too much to contend with.
Edit: Thank you for taking the time to address my review. I don't think my review was unfair as it reflected the experience I had. I understand that there are some things are out of your control (bins, waiting times, layout). My issue was not being told on our arrival at 2.50pm that the breakfast/brunch menu was coming to an end. When we were seated at 3pm I felt rushed to make a decision about what to order. If I'd known beforehand I would have chosen a different time to attend. This info isn't on...
