Gelato Passion is a dessert venue that has become a household name. They are one of the original dessert places and like they say, old is gold.

They have many stores dotted across the country. Having visited a number of times, we have tried quite a few things from the large variety of options they offer.

Freshly made Nutella Crepe- Fresh crepe mothered with Nutella spread &served with strawberry or banana.

Milkshake - Standard classical milkshake you can’t go wrong with. There are 31 flavours to choose from, we’ve tried Ferrero Rocher and Oreo.

Chocolate Fondue - This comes with a choice of 6 dips to choose from... We chose Strawberry, Banana, Marshmallows and Brownie. The chocolate is kept warm by a lit candle. Perfect for the romantic night out.

Gelato Passion Special Belgian Waffle -Waffle made with melted Ferrero Rocher chocolate, topped with Nutella and whole Ferrero Rochers 😋. With Waffles, you can either choose Regular size, which is half a waffle, or a large size for the complete Waffle.

After Eight Mint Chocolate Sundae - Mint Choc Chip & Chocolate Gelato, Mint syrup, Chocolate sauce & After Eight Chocolate. This is one of my favourite. There is a generous amount of ice creamed served.

The Oreo Sundae - Oreo cookies, vanilla gelato, cookies and cream gelato, chocolate sauce and Belgian chocolate bits. For all the Oreo lovers.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough- Hot, chewy chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla gelato and chocolate sauce served with florentine wafer. You can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a hot dessert.

Some stores also offer home delivery and phone orders.

We find Gelato Passion really good value for money as their desserts are of good standard. Gelato passion never disappoints!

A group of us decided to go for a dessert on Sunday evening. We all placed our orders and we received them within good time. The lady who served us with the desserts was nice and friendly.

6 of the 7 desserts were enjoyed by my friends, unfortunately the Ferror Rocher cheesecake I ordered taste bitter and quite frankly unedible. I was reluctant to raise the issue but as everyone was enjoying their dessert whilst I sat there I decided raise the issue. The customer service was lacking as was any true acknowledgement of the issue I raised. Whilst I was offered an alternative or something to take away I was left feeling like I was a 'trouble maker' or 'one of them annoying customers. This is the first time coming here for dessert. Absolute horrible service and the manager ZAFAR having no understanding on how to run a business yet knowing how to actually speak to customers. I ordered churros and asked for extra sauces which i asked to be warmed up. They said we don't warm sauce. I also asked about the pink sauce and he had no idea what it was. This was the apparent manager I ordered a brownie which was dry and had no flavour. I never do reviews but i just don’t believe the experience i had.
