Young female manager with black hair should not manage anything when she cant even manage her own people skills! I went around 12.15 last weekend to be told sorry we are not serving so I drove round spoke to the manager in question for her to tell me tills are being rebooted to which I said why couldn't you have said that in the first place instead of acting like the place is closed and being obnoxious, So I said I'd wait... while doing to she eyeballed me kept peeking round the corner for some strange reason instead of doin her job then literally 12.22 she comes back an says what can I get you bo longer than 7 mins and she created this whole scene then had the audacity to tell me to drive round when 10 cars had pulled in behind me it was clear what she was doin using it as a excuse to not work, I left with nothing as I didn't trust the girl to handle my food after her attitude and what she was asking was absolutely rediculous I wish this be taken further u got a manager refusing to work and a million complaints! Also it is illegal to refuse service and that what she done when she knew it wasn't logical or rational for me to drive round she knew there was a load of cars pulled in and had a till directly infront of her! She also refused to give her name and didn't have a badge on! Yet more signs of a weak and pathetic manager not doing her job, I'm not going to another maccies until you fix the issues and I dont want serving by people or managers that can't even talk to people correctly never mind do her job! Read moreI don't like leaving bad reviews, unfortunately bad service of one type or another has been given over the last few months. Having used this McDonals quite frequently over the last few months it sadends me to report that this place is getting worse over time. Not that it has ever been brilliant. When using the drive through without exception, the dips, sauces and serviettes wil invariably be absent from your order, that is, should you get the correct order at all. So check before you drive away. The same goes if you are eating in. The length of wait for a fast food service is lamentable which beggars the question. Why are the meals cold when they eventually give them to you? Supposedly if the wait has been long its because the meal is fresh, not so! Again even if you have been lucky enough to receive the correct order check that it is hot. I am sure there is a FSA directive about hot food! I could complain about the way the delivery drivers seem to have taken over this branch and that service is geared towards them. I shall leave that one hanging. The last two things I shall moan about is when you do sit in there is a distinct lack of heating in their establishment, this I assume is in part beacuse they leave the doors wide oen for the afore mentined delivery drivers. I am sure there is a HSE directive about temperatures in the work place for the staff if not for the customers who have to suffer the owners miserly state of mind. Which brings me to my final item which is litter. The bins provided are all placed on the left hand side of the carriage, why? when most drivers sit on the right! hence with maybe the exception of their own car park the rest of Kirkby is littered with their rubbish. Read moreI live nearby and it was my the very first and the very last visit. The level of service was awful. The restaurant wasn't busy at all inside but they are clearly understaffed because now all the effort is going into those Deliveroo and JustEat direction. I ordered this way before, and I liked it, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against takeaways but you need more staff to serve the customers who made the effort and actually visited you! Very dirty inside, someone from staff told us where to sit, randomly chose the worst place, luckily I know what I want and just chose where I wanted, thank you very much. I ordered via app, great option, you don't have to use the tablet, just choose at home, come to the place and check in. Food was ready in 15 minutes, that's not too bad but still slow considering it was not busy at all inside. We ordered 3 Cokes, 2 medium, 1 large, they gave us 3 mediums. I carefully chose the sauces, they didn't give it, we chose one burger without cheese, it was with cheese. Like others said here, you'll need to try harder, you just lost another customer, not that you care - I know. Those young people working there are not bothered, they are not identifying with the brand. The brand itself will not read my review. No one cares today, it's not some family restaurant where they respect their customers, it's a fast food factory, ordered, paid, next. We'll try another one in St Helen's, probably better than this. It's a shame because we just moved here and we thought it would be nice to go for a burger with kids sometimes, it's only 10 minutes walk.
