The service has definitely changed for the better. But my comments will remain the same until further notice. A couple of days ago, after a hard, long day, hoping it would end in an slightly bit easy day, I went to grab a hamburger. Went to the front to give my order. As I was doing this, a senior member of the staff, without any courtesy, began asking question to the person serving me. This was about someone, before me, had placed an order and wasn't satisfied.I stopped my order immediately. Still the senior member of the staff had no courtesy to even apologise for the interuption. He then left and I continued with my order. A minute later, the senior staff member returned and again interupted. This time, in a sarcastic manner, I looked at him and stopped my order again and told him to continue. When he finished, I asked if I could continue giving my order. He just looked at me and walked away. No courtesy and no apology whatsoever! Disgusting manner and attitude.
If I could, then I wouldn't give it a single star. If you are going to have Mcflurry ice cream, then I would say "Don't" as the machine seems to be never working. And if you really want to have an ice cream, then get one from the nearest corner shop as it's always a guarantee that it will be available there! Or get a large tub from Tesco nearby.
I Went up to the counter to order a quarter pounder with cheese (not as a meal but separate as I don't wish to order a drink) with chips (fries). I then enquired if they had a mcflurry ice cream available. At first I was been told that there was but then a minute later, I was told that there was none. And so I paid and got my receipt and waited to be called to collect my food. I looked up at the screen to see if I could see the number on my receipt. It wasn't there but decided to wait and see if it did. Fifteen minutes passed and I couldn't see the number on my receipt. By this time, quite a few people, who came in after me, collected their food and went. So I went up to the counter and placed my receipt on it. At first, no one seemed to have noticed that I was there with the receipt on the counter. The staff kept on talking to themselves and some even passed the counter, completely ignoring me. But then a nice, young lady, saw me. She looked at the number, as I informed her that I was waiting for my food. She went inside and brought it out and apologised by saying that the receipt must have dropped on the floor. I thanked her and walked out. Accept for the young lady, who brought my food out, I don't think anyone of the other staff members noticed that I was there at the counter with receipt and that I had been there for such a long time. I have been to this McDonald's plenty of times, but never have I had to wait for such a long time just for my food. By the time I got home, the fries were cold! And since I live not too far, I always got them fairly hot. But not this time. Completely rubbish service (with the acception of that one young lady)! If I had the opportunity, I would then cancel my order and gone to another fast food joint. But I don't! Never,ever, have I come across such a rubbish service! It is disgusting that people have to wait for such a long time. And I can say that as I have been going to McDonald's (not just this one), but others in other parts of the country, since the 1980's. I recently had my young son come spend the weekend with me, a time I truly cherish and wish there could be more of. Anyway, this Saturday we both got settled in the living-room to watch a movie together. "I know" I said, "Let's have a McDonald's" Now I don't have much free money at all but I'd eat catfood for the week to have a special time with my son. He was excited. So I ordered via the app. I had the audacity to leave a note, a very gentle and polite note. "Please can you put sauces with order as I have none at home, wasted the last on a cheese sandwich. Appreciated and hope you're having a good evening." The absolute audacity of me. I did this because every-time I've ordered over the years not once did they provide the included sauce with my sons nuggets. Well they mustn't have liked that someone had the nerve to be polite in a note because this order was ordered at 8.30pm and not delivered until nearly 11pm. Nothing to do with deliveries, just the staff being petty and tossing the order onto an ever lengthy preparing your order. I couldn't even cancel the order for a refund. Movie over, son ready for bed and upset. I look like a fool now. All because a left a very respectful and upbeat note for sauce. They'll have a good laugh if they read this I imagine. Read moreThe first time I noticed missing items in my order, I thought it was just a one-time mistake. However, as I continued to visit this drive-through, I realized that it was a recurring issue. Almost every time I placed an order, there would be at least one item missing.
Not only is this frustrating, but it also wastes my time. I have to go back and forth with the drive-through staff to get the missing item, which can be quite inconvenient.
I have tried different approaches to address this issue. I have double-checked my order before leaving the drive-through, but even then, items are still missing. I have also politely informed the staff about the missing items, hoping that they would take note and improve their service. Unfortunately, the problem persists.
It is disappointing to see a drive-through consistently missing out on items in the order. It reflects poorly on their efficiency and attention to detail. As a customer, I expect to receive what I have paid for, and it is frustrating to constantly be let down in this regard.
I hope that the management of this drive-through takes this issue seriously and works towards improving their service.
Overall, my experience with this drive-through has been disappointing due to their consistent failure to include all items in my order. I hope they take the necessary steps to rectify this issue and provide a better experience for their customers in the future.
