I strongly recommend this wonderful British pub. We held a birthday party there on the 26aug. Although there was over seventy guests every thing went brilliantly. The staff were so helpful and kind the food fantastic. Everyone had nothing but praise for the party and it's venue. Many many thanks to all staff for what must have been a very tiring day for them. A friendly, local-style pub in the City centre, it's not been "modernised" and ruined. A notice on the door says that they don't serve food but, if you're having a drink, you can bring in your own from one of the many local food places!
