A group of 5 of use came in for the 'best margarita in Leeds'. We ordered 5 and within 2 minutes of sitting down we decided that we should leave and one of our friends ex was on a date there and it as extremely awkward. we asked the waitress (short girl, maybe 20 years old, short black/brown hair, tattoos on her arms, called Phoebe) if we could get the bill. When we got the bill having been there for a total of 5 minutes I asked to remove the service charge. I felt this was reasonable as we weren't staying for long and if we were to stay longer and actually engage with the staff and felt entertained as appropriate the service charge would have been a nice expression of gratitude for her service. Upon asking for the removal, the waitress turned and said 'yeah, that's rude' in a dismissive manor. I was extremely taken back by this tone and her attitude, especially all things considering. Having over a decade of experience in hospitality I am fully aware when a customer is rude and have an excellent comprehension of the service required. Her attitude and behaviour was unacceptable. So grateful to have found this bar. My experience on a Thursday evening was faultless. The environment from the moment you step foot inside is like no other. Spacious seating, nicely dimmed lighting, a really nice smokey aroma in the air too, not like your usual boozy smelling bar. It's so inviting. You're then greeted by the staff here that cannot do enough for you. The attentiveness of the guys I had the pleasure of dealing with on that night was so refreshing. Other places can learn a lot from these! The flavours of the drinks are impeccable. The service is amazing. Start to finish I was blown away and I cannot wait to return next time I'm in Leeds. If I had to pick one point to improve on I'd say the restrooms need a spruce up, they fit the style of the rest of the place but they were just a bit scuffed compared to the main area. Outstanding little gem!!!

We're not from Leeds so stumbled upon this little cocktail bar purely by chance and what a surprise it was.

Upon entry we were seated and given a complimentary sample drink 'bartenders handshake' alongside a glass of iced water and a thorough introduction by a friendly staff member. The drinks menu is themed with corresponding decorations around the bar which was a nice touch.

The drinks themselves we're exceptional. Really well thought out and flavoured cocktails. Unsure of the themed menu my partner requested a cocktail made to her taste and was not disappointed, receiving 2 off menu drinks tailored to her preferences.

As far as cocktail bars go this is certainly one of the best I have been to. Attention to detail and customer service is fantastic, in addition to excellent cocktails!!
