Haley & Clifford provided the catering for a recent significant birthday celebration in the well-equipped Thorner Victory Hall.

We chose a bespoke three-course cold buffet for our 26 guests. All of the food was prepared fresh by the talented and lovely Val and her team. The canapés provided an excellent small bite as the guests arrived. All of the main course dishes, including roasted Mediterranean vegetable tortilla, spinach, tomato and goat’s cheese pie, pork pies and salmon en croute, were absolutely delicious – and there was no skimping on the salmon in the en croute dish – and they all went very well with the different salad accompaniments. The fresh summer berries with cream and the frangipane tart provided a light yet tasty dessert. Many of the dishes were gluten free. Several of our guests commented on the high quality of the buffet and how pleasantly surprised they were that it didn’t feature any sandwiches at all.

The customer service was excellent throughout the planning and food delivery process. Val communicated efficiently and professionally at all times and was always extremely flexible and helpful.

The food was plentiful. It was therefore brilliant forward thinking that Val provided us with eco-friendly, sturdy cardboard doggy bags. Some of our guests, and we ourselves, took the spare food home.

Following the recommendation from a colleague, I ordered catering for a business lunch for a new team of staff on their first day meeting one another in Leeds city centre.

George was a pleasure to deal with and everything was organised quickly and efficiently, as was delivery and a message to say where the food had been delivered in the building and the member of staff who had taken delivery on our behalf.

We had ordered food and drinks for twelve people including a mix of those who eat meat and those who have vegetarian and vegan requirements. All food was wonderfully presented on their platters and there was no sense that the vegan/vegetarian servings were lacking in content compared to the meat options like with some places. There was clear thought that had gone into creating each serving.
