La Petite Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Leeds

I really wanted to like this restaurant but was very disappointed. i had calves liver with mashed potato, it was £19.95, no vegetables included and an optional a side order of brocolli was £5. It was ok, I don't think worth the price. My mother had lasagna which she said was tasty but it had hard/crusty pieces of lasagna pieces in it, she also ordered a side salad which had very little dressing on it. My partner had broccoli risotto, it was uncooked making the rice hard and the risotto not creamy, it was also very tasteless. We were being treated to the meal so hadn't said anything to the waiter however, to be fair, he did ask if everything was ok when he noticed it was hardly touched and my partner gave him his feedback. The waiter did aplogise, however when he brought the bill he had included a 10% service charge (there is also a tip box on the bar counter). We had to ask for that to be taken off. Overall very disappointing, I was also disappointed to see optional services charges added to the bill, a trait from London that it would be sad to see happening in Leeds. Automatically adding an optional charge to the bill which people have to ask to be taken off seems...

Avoid...Not to be trusted..! BEWARE..! The food is fantastic and the service is friendly and efficient...however having been here on quite a few occasions now, I've noticed that the bill has been wrong. On the first occasion I just let it go on the understanding that they added a surcharge ontop of my bill...however I wasn't given a receipt to check this..The second time my bill was wrong and a receipt wasn't given and I still just presumed it was a ridiculous surcharge...However today I called in and the bill should have come to £18.00. I paid once again without taking much notice only to find out that I paid over £26.67 for my snack. It's such a shame that they do this and I have now decided that enough is enough and will never go back to this place on principle.. I will leave more reviews on all other platforms to warn people about this problem.

This small restaurant around the corner quickly became one of my favorite spots after we stumbled upon it while searching for a cup of coffee. It was one of the best decisions we ever made!

Food: When we first visited, the menu was limited, but I was blown away by one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Fast forward less than a year, and their menu has tripled in size while maintaining—and even improving—the quality of their dishes. I absolutely loved their pasta and pizza, which I can confidently say is my favorite. I've recommended it to so many friends!

Atmosphere: The restaurant has a cozy vibe. It may not be flashy, but it feels inviting and comfortable. The outside seating is a fantastic option on sunny days, adding to the charm.
