I paid by phone, it was really busy and really noisey and asked the bar person ( a man) if it had gone through, I couldn't hear the beep due to the noise, I picked my drink up and the bar person shouted loudly you haven't paid, I said why shout like that I was polite to you, its nice to be nice, I didn't hear due to the noise. A couple next to me commented how rude he was,chubbyish guy sandy hair dangly earring (rings) in his left ear, quite young. Well this pub has stood the test of time it’s always good to see it open early plus always good to see a good mix of clientele plus these are the working class pubs but welcome all with a decent price range which won’t be your hourly pay so this is why I appreciate these pubs there value for money but called in around dinner the service was good they had the nags on tele plus outside while the hustle n bustle was going on plus the bus stop bang on the door bonus . Visited Sunday 19th May in the afternoon, 2 members of staff on. When I first went to the bar I thought the lady serving was rude but that was topped the lad who was on when I went back up to purchase a second round all but ignored me. The 2 of them continued with conversations between themselves on both occasions. The lad all but threw the crisps on the bar.
