If you're a coffee person in Leeds, then you probably know Kapow. If you're looking for coffee in Leeds, then you should visit Kapow.
The team here always have a top retail selection on rotation. You can get espresso, milk drinks, a solid match or some really fancy pour overs (Ask the team what's in the secret freezer).
Cakes and bakes are solid from local producers, but the main attraction is the coffee. They stock on of the best rotations in the UK. They have some good contacts and you can get some of the best roastries in the world from here.
Recently, I really enjoyed the Prodical espresso. They have a Decent and they are always messing around and trying new recipes with it. Batch brew is always good. Milk coffees are usually great. Pourover selection is aome of the best.
Some ot the Baristas here are competitive and they use those skills on the bar. Always pushing boundaries, never stuck doing the same thing over and over.
Kapow also host a lot of events. You should follow them...

As this incident was unprovoked one can only assume it was a racist act. Had friends with similar experiences with this place. Recommend to...

I am a resident, coffee nerd, and have tried most of them in the city and surroundings. This is the best and most consistent.
Now bear in mind that they have a no laptops policy, so it’s not possible to sit and work in here - I think because having people camping at tables reduces space for people coming and going. It’s very small with limited seating (but more upstairs) - it’s designed to go with a few people or a friend and sit and talk, or for you to get takeaway.
Anyway. Best coffee. Thanks for being awesome at what you do and caring about making each...
