Nice friendly owners, very welcoming. The mixed starter combo for two was delicious freshly cooked and a great tasting. The tandoori roti though was tiny especially for the cost. The mango lassi was delicious though overpriced also. The young lad they had wandering about too just doesn't or didn't have the same politeness as the owners, very abrupt and almost dismissive which is a shame, all I asked was for the bill. If you don't mind paying more than you should for a smaller portion size even if it is tasty fresh food, then give it a try. it was a tasty one off visit for me though.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely my favourite Indian restaurant of all time. The staff are welcoming, decor is beautiful and the food is fantastic. I’ve been here many times and tried most of the dishes but today I went for a classic butter chicken and saag paneer, you can’t go wrong! Also had the mango lassi which was so creamy and tasty (forgot to picture). Would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The best authentic independent Indian restaurant in Leeds. Family run, friendly staff, amazing authentic Indian food, reasonably priced what more can you ask for? My favourite was the Lamb Shank Curry and Lamb Chop. The buttermilk chicken was tasty and the King Prawn Masala was so fresh, can tell the king prawn was fresh. I need to try all Lamb dishes in the menu.

“Food poisoning STAY CLEAR RAW FOOD”

After visiting on Saturday night for the 1st time we were delighted to see that it looked busy (can't be a bad sign) and we managed to get a table straight away 9pm. The young lady who took our order gave us recomendations on new dishes which we always are open to so decided to go with ordering them. Well what can I say the started came quickly and honestly looked great!!!........... HOWEVER......My husband was tucking into his and to his surprise the chicken was RAW like plain and simple pink not cooked RAW!!!!! We called the girl over who was very apologetic and took it straight back. Shortly after bringing fresh starters this time cooked properly thank God. We continued with the meal.... When our mains came we were abit wiery but went ahead.... Well the tuc a tac lamb or summat that I got was the saltyest curry I've ever had with big chunks of peppers in, clearly not very authentic just vile! My husbands dish (can't remember what) was not very pleasant either. In the end we asked to get it bagged up to take away (so we could throw it away at home basically) At this point the manager/owner decided to come over and ask us how it was as we explains he stated the chefs are only human and make mistake....(cooking chicken should be a basic in my opinion) Anyways he continued on explaining how he put all his money into this restaurant and he hopes people enjoy and come back....if they are not happy then the food will be free....no charge..... but consider writting a review... (Owner/manager left us......) My husban joke by singing "begging begging youuuuu!!!!" As this felt like a plea of this is his livelihood which fair enough is understandable but cooking chicken, cooking any meat in a restaurant need to be done correctly YOU COULD KILL SOMEONE!!!! In the end my we asked for the bill £60 (it was not free) my husband paid and whilst paying the card machine wouldn't go off the add gratuity screen - my husband was not having it and said he ain't paying NO GRATUITY!!!! After the manager had to get the bar maid to cleared it off as he didn't know how to my husband paid the £60 and we went home. Having thought about it we really shouldn't have paid but hey ho what's done is done!!!! Well Sunday and to no surprise my husband was not feeling great bad stomach pains = u know what!!! Overall WE WILL NOT RETURN!!!! WE WILL WARN PEOPLE OF THIS EXPERIENCE AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL GET LOOKED INTO. Date of...

Oh Dear! I wouldn't usually rate a restaurant after one visit. They are all entitled to an off night! However. This was really disappointing in retrospect. The young lady serving couldn't really speak English well enough. I wouldn't hold that against her. Though the manner of serving was really poor. Asking us to use the same knives and forks for each course not wiping the table in between. Wanting to clear plates & glasses whilst one of us was still eating are just a few of the wrong things. I'd say it was more clumsy than really bad. Re the food. The pickle tray for the poppadoms was tasteless and very poor. The starters looked like they were reheated items. My wife who is Coeliac Gluten free couldn't eat it. The main course was excellent! However, my wife was quite poorly the same evening and I have doubts that the Coeliac Gluten Free we were assured of, was as promised. The table next to us occupied by four ladies who doubled as Hyenas wasn't exactly the best company, but I certainly don't hold that against the restaurant. Our little group of three, certainly enjoyed each others company, but we probably won't be returning...

Absolutely terrible service. What a disappointment for my daughter's birthday. Staff that don't really speak or understand English properly. Very long wait for food. Arrived at 6.30 & left at 9pm. We only ordered poppadoms & mains. After i complained, the owner offered pudding for the kids like he was doing us a favour however pudding comes with the kids meals anyway & after all the talk about kids froot shoots that come with the meal they also never came. No candle in her pudding or happy birthday wish. Terrible terrible terrible will never come here again. The food was also below average, ordered the tandoori grill which was very dry, not enough sauces & salads. Very limited variety of juices for kids. The malai kofta was also hard & is very sweet to taste. The restaurant itself is also dusty & ladies bathroom could do with a revamp. Spiders, no hand towels or...
