Zero, well 2 stars as it was uncomfortable ( tiny seats just at the wrong height if you wanted to just have one drink and read the papers) 3.15 pm, seats algorithmically AI Designed for minimum comfort, maximum gain /pain for age group 50 to 65 middle class, comfortably off shoppers wanting a break Staff were great, fodder was as expected to a large organisation no real chefs needed, as its all brought in from centralised chillers, AS IT SHOULD BE FOR A LARGE CHAIN, YET... I feel a little more time spent and a tiny extra on quality meat on presentation and taste wouldn't go amiss Understand the need for speed and burgers with swift pints and stuffing of chips.... Aaaah the chips portions varied wildly erring on the minimalist approach.. So Ideal for pré clubbing, on that note they have tried to retain the poor punter with flashing strobes and noise levels that rivals carpet bombing in Baghdad, problem of mixing the later shoppers with the 6 pm start of straffing, with light machine gun fire building up to, later admittedly, to the Nuclear onslaught, I'm sure I saw the doorstaff wearing earplugs from the noise rather than in-house communication So take your pick, if you want wild somewhat unsteady dancing from both genders then fine and the daytime was as it was, it is difficult to get the right balance because of the high and getting higher influx of students and catering for the later shopper plus its between the two location of wannabe clubs and the city pubs But the staff are very good and coped well and are polite, I know that some are students who against all government odds manage to get a halfway...
Read moreI would give this zero stars if it was possible. Last night I was out as it was a bank holiday and I was excited, I had been on a cruise ship working for 6 months so it was my first night out. I showed my id 3 times to different people which is ridiculous to say you get id upon entry. The final time the bouncer told me it was not me? I showed him my Apple ID which you cannot fake at all considering you set your phone up with it 😂😂 having the name of the id on that email and Apple ID. He proceeds to kick me out and then tells me he’s taking it and will not give it back. So I called the police which he definetly did not expect! The 999 operator was shocked and she knew aswell it is illegal to withhold someone’s id even if you don’t believe it is them. He was so unbelievably cocky and I was absolutely appalled at his behaviour. 999 told me she spoke with him on my phone and he has to give me it back and I said okay please stay on the line so he actually gives it back. He was stood there with my I’d in his hand waving it around and not giving it back to me. I cannot believe this bouncer is was allowed to act in this way and especially since the police has been called and he is refusing a police officer. Get you bouncers sorted out in the head and teach them the laws please...
Read moreFirst of admittedly they was right to ask for I'd but then I paid for a giant mixed grill which was presented as a normal only for it to be delivered half way through my meal on a side plate and was told I could have a doggy bag by three staff. They then took my fork with the other plate I had to go fetch one.then later they told my daughter upon asking for a doggy bag said I could have one only to be told they cannot give me one only clingfilm then refused a napkin or bag because it was against their policy to give us a doggy bag because the law states if they don't have licence to send us home with food off of the premises that and mucky looks I paid a lot of money which the one at boar lane are more helpful and they have 2 for a tenner very poor service at Woodhouse family birthday dinner by the mistakes three times made will not be going ever again the food was good though go figure needs more training for staff so they all know the rules I was a landlady of a pub once my pub was heaving every day with good food and everyone...
