Yorkshire Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Leeds

This place is riddiculous disgusting with disgusting employees this food is definitely not worth the price😂 and will now slowly loose a lot of customers and I will be sharing this around my social media’s the place is dirty with rats and insects roaming about the employees are unhygienic don’t wear gloves seen him clean the table and touch buns withought washing his hands, very rude, seats are always dirty and the food dont taste as it used to a good 6 years ago so this is a no go now and deffinarly not worth the price it was decent before but for this food and hospitality quality I don’t think we will be paying this yfc has gone very down hill. I can recommend silvergrill next door or chicken hut around the corner. Or if you keep going straight the takeaway shop smashed do amazing smashed burgers defiantly worth it. But this place 👎 is finished now you should start with your prices back down to what it was and be lucky if you get customers as this establishment needs to close and I will contact the public health and safety agents to carry out a thorough inspection of the property to confirm it meets the health regulations as this property will definitely fail and be closed down and they really need new management and workers the workers are disgustingly rude and was about to get hit in the face by another customer for telling him there’s no chicken then letting another customer order chicken I think it’s maybe the race game...

Visited here at around 9 in the night and asked for chicken pieces but was told there's no chicken available, I asked if there's any down in the fryer getting cooked I can wait but I was told Aggressively that chicken is finished for the day only chicken wings and burgers available and I decided to buy 10 wings & a Fillet Tower/Supreme Burger. While my order was getting prepared a customer walked in and asked for chicken and he was told that it would take about 12 minutes and the customer decided to wait, funny thing I could have been told the same but nope anyhow wasn't really impressed with the chicken wings because of the excessive red colour which I think at least the fried chicken should not have. The burger was ok with lettuce which clearly had past it's good time. Them Complementary 2oz Tubs of Sauces were Literally Just Empty Tubs. All in All wasn't really impressed with the service and food either. Might Come Visit This Place Again but...

I’m extremely disappointed with my repeated experiences at YFC in Harehills. The hygiene standards are shockingly poor. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed staff handling food without gloves, and the overall cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve unfortunately suffered food poisoning four times after eating from here, which is unacceptable.

What’s even more concerning is the rude and dismissive attitude of the staff. There seems to be no regard for customer service or basic food safety practices. It genuinely feels like there’s no accountability or oversight here.

For the sake of public health, I urge Leeds City Council to carry out a full hygiene inspection and review their CCTV footage from the past week. This establishment is not safe for families – I wouldn’t recommend anyone, especially those with children, to eat from here. The setup feels more like unregulated street food than a proper takeaway.
