Ok I'm giving this plaice a 5* rating because it deserves a 4.5 and currently at level 4 rating. Perfect tasty coating on the chips but the chips could be freshly cut instead of frozen? (I'm being cruel and fussy but if you want to be the best in the country read on:) fish was perfect batter a tad sloppy on the underside (to be fair it was freshly served and was in the wrapper for a few minutes.... Again I'm being very picky it was very nice all the same) mushy peas very green .... Too green! Which would indicate they are coloured mushy peas to me....but again....I'm being picky.... They tasted perfect!) Garlic mayo.... Just a tip....do away with the bottles of sauce visible on the counter....instead have a fridge with pre-packed tubs of sauces. ...make your own garlic dip... simple: get the best mayonnaise add a clove of fresh crushed garlic and stir for every medium sized pot. (That taste of fresh home made garlic dip will be remembered by your customers who also appreciate your efforts in all that you do to create a clean fresh service of some of the very best fish and chips I have ever had! Unfortunately this place is continuously going down hill. The staff are rude, half of them speak in their own language and the other half have an attitude problem. The staff seem to stand around chatting or on their phones the majority of the time and people are always left waiting to be served.

I don’t think I’ve actually had an order completely correct from this place which is disappointing in itself. Each time I have ordered there’s always been some sort of issue. The kebab meat is very greasy, the burger buns are toasted for far too long and end up being burnt every time. The battered chips are rock solid and the food quality has rapidly declined. When you try to speak to the staff about your issues with food or orders being correct they don’t understand either so nothing gets resolved. Excellent Fish and Chips Experience!
