Always a lovely visit here with my toddler. He finds the sights and sounds fascinating. The volunteers are all so lovely and quick to want to tell you about the cathedral. I'm not a religious person but I do like and appreciate architecture. The volunteers do not thrown religion down your neck but talk to you about the history and remarkable building itself. You do not have to pay to go in but they would ask for a donation if you can give one, you're not made to feel like an awful person for not giving a donation. We visited a lot in the school holidays especially to use the man made beach. The lady running it was professional and friend. I found the toys in the beach shack shop to be reasonable priced and fun for the kids. Few people dis get confused about not bringing their own bucket and spades. I saw on Facebook that it says specifically to bring your own equipment not sure if more signage needs to be put around about this. It's a good way to spend an hour or so.

I’m no scholar but for sheer grandiose accomplishment that you can see touch smell and experience visit Lichfield Cathedral. I Visited with a dear friend, although I admit I’m very late writing a review better late than never. A day well spent indeed; Lichfield Cathedral… a beautiful place to see, to walk around and go inside. The awe inspiring architecture and absolute splendour is breathtaking. Even if you aren’t a religious person I would recommend going and seeing something so wonderfully realised and constructed it could almost make non believers convert! That men; many hundreds of years ago built such wonders to last to the present time and beyond is (pardon the pun) of biblical proportions.😳 So go and look 👀 at the place, you won’t be disappointed in seeing what mankind can achieve.👍 Plenty of car parks within a brief walking distance of the Cathedral and an all round nice place to visit for leisure and shopping. Beautiful 😍

AVOID - False doctrine, false teaching and heretical, unbiblical practices! An abomination to the Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible, Saints, Angels, Martyrs and True Christians. I love the stained glass windows, the angels, the sculptures, the history, the Eucharist, Choral Evensong, the Holiness, being in the presence of the one, true, Living God. Vestments, altars, incense, and priests belong to the old covenant, but it is important not to be divisive when it comes to secondary, non-salvific issues. Primary issues that will send you to the Lake of Fire are evident throughout Lichfield Cathedral. Blessings of unions that are detestable to God, female vicars which go against Scripture, the veneration of relics , prayers to Mary, etc. are heretical and unbiblical. To walk in the liberty of the Holy Spirit is to have eternal life now along with the Communion of Saints, Martyrs, True Christians, past, present, and future. When Jesus returns to bring Salvation to those who have endured to the end, we shall see Him as He is. False prophets, false teachers and heretics will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Nominal Christians, self-righteous Christians, the rich, cowardly, proud and ungodly of all denominations will hear: "Depart from me, I never knew you!" Come soon Lord Jesus! 🙏

Went twice in 24 hours. One for a Pink Floyd concert . Then in the day time the morning after. It is amazing if you like local history. The architecture is fantastic. It dates back to the 10th century. What a cathedral. It has 3 spires which is rare . It’s free to get in and you can make a voluntary contribution. At night time for the concert we were amazed they sold alcohol but needs must . The dim lights created an atmosphere in its own without any music . In the day time you can see the stained glass windows which are amazing with the sunshine shining through. I’ve got to say this is a must to go too . The skills , the sculptures are all amazing. So glad it’s well maintained. The toilets are not in the cathedral just down the road but well maintained. It’s amazing 🤩

The place was pretty big and very detailed. I have posted a set of pictures for those interested in seeing the place but are unable to go. If you are able to go I would recommend seeing it in person. The level of detail and architecture is wonderful and spiritually speaking makes you feel quite small. Which in my opinion makes it very interesting. Looking around you can feel the history echoing from the walls as well as taking the time to explore the various areas. This is also complete with various staff dotted around who you can talk to and get more information on the place. The area is free to visit and view, and if you really enjoy historic sites they accept donations as well. Overall a great experience.

Nestled in the charming city of Lichfield, the Cathedral is a must visit gem, showcasing stunning Gothic architecture and magnificent stained glass windows. Currently, visitors can enjoy the captivating "Threads through Creation" exhibition. A stunning display beautifully illustrates the beginning of life and the fall from grace in the Garden of Eden, all depicted on intricate silk panels. The cathedral is conveniently located within walking distance of nice restaurants and delightful shops. Additionally, the cathedral is just a five minute walk from Beacon Park, offering pleasant surroundings and a serene atmosphere. Lichfield Cathedral is a perfect blend of historical grandeur and cultural enrichment.
