Coffee Depot — Restaurant in Lincoln

Great little coffee shop, with a really friendly chap behind the bar and some DELICIOUS food and drink!

I popped in today for a drink and snack, mid morning, and only 1 table was taken. While I was there it went up to 4 tables taken with a few still free, but bear in mind it’s a very small shop so be prepared to get takeout just in case!

I had a matcha latte and a pistachio cannoli, and my buddy had a breakfast bagel and flat white. Both came out really fast, and both my drink and food were really tasty. The matcha is strong, so be ready for that!

The size of the drinks is great for what you pay - definitely more than you’d get at certain larger chains (C, N, and S), and the taste of the food and drink made the price more than worth it.

There’s a lovely laid back atmosphere in here, and if it’s cold outside please be reassured the heater definitely works - it was very warm here, we were sat in our T shirts, no jumpers!

There are toilets available as well, but there’s not a lot of space so I’d say it’s not ideal for anyone who needs a more accessible place to be seated. The staff are lovely though, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they would come outside and take a to-go order, and bring it outside for you.

We would gladly give Coffee Depot maximum stars. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Popped in Coffee Depot twice on 20/ & 21/09/25, what a fabulous hidden gem, there is so much choice on the menu ( too much to mention) & very reasonably priced too. I had the toasted chicken pesto on foccacia which was delightful, my vanilla latte was also divine. We also tried the iced gingerbread coffee and sausage cheese, pesto, sundried tomato ciabatta .
